Yep, I'm on build 13, no modifications. Using compass from catch.com. Gonna try a different app to see if makes a difference.

Edit: tried with a different app and it seems to work ok as well.
Just to clarify, it didn't work originally even after recalibrating using the 8 motion several times, until i set my and my gf's phones side by side. I don't know if some type of magnetic field from the other phone helped perform a proper recalibration on my phone, but I'm assuming it did. Since then it's been ok.

Actually...not particularly. For the following reasons:

1) Battery life is too variable and subjective. There is no way to standardize it since it can be heavily affected by app load, usage levels, battery age, weather conditions, crypto-gender aspirations and general state of the global ionosphere...to name just a few. In addition, users lie.

2) Battery life takes a few charging cycles at least to stabilize. Therefore all these people posting screen caps of the battery use window in assorted languages taken within hours of flashing the new build are wasting their own time, our time and the world's limited supply of bandwidth.

3) Battery life, like performance, is something that is improved gradually by the devs as they refine and improve the ROM. It is second nature to them. They don't need to be reminded to be aware of it and doing so is like reminding the pastry chef not to include grilled chicken on the desert cart.

try to reinstall it and delete data/titanium on your sd card.
your settings are stored in this folder, maybe its better to start from scratch.
tb ist working great for me.

Installed B13 yesterday, after a full wipe. I installed mods from Perka, circle battery mod and also CMsettings. I don't have many apps installed yet but I didn't have a single FC yet! Not so fast ROM but very stable! I guess that when fast, stable and overclockable kernels are developed everything will be superb. Thumbs up anyway!

I was on Onecosmic for 15 minutes, and then I cam back to CM9. Reasons:

I flashed RC2, and then I had to fisrst flash kernel from RC1, then super user fix, then kernel from RC2 just to get superuser working, and my USB did not work, and It was too much problem for me, so i was back to CM9.

I did all thet just to see the difference, i will stick to CM9 until I get rid of this phone :)

I had installed OneCosmic RC1. It was a great ROM. Really fast and stable. But RC2 has problems, that is why I am back B13. The truth is that it is really hard to day which one is better. Both teams are doing an excellent job!

Is there anyway to use Samsung's own music app in this rom? I want those professional ones to answer to this. And dear pawtip can you make it possible to create folders in launcher?

Whatever bro.
I only posted screenshots to show how well development has progressed regarding battery life. I can say now its definately better than build 12. I'm no noob and I"m very aware of calibration. A few ppl were asking how battery life is. Was not a report to pawitp. Just to users or potential newcomers.

BUG: Bootloop

It happened again on build 13 also(had it on b12 also a couple of times).
I noticed that the phone went warm in my pocket, it had gone into a bootboot-loop as someone named it.

No chance to got to recovery, and it still bootlopped if i re-flashed the kernel(b13) from download mode.
I could flash the glitch kernel and it booted normally.

Can you give me some info in how to enable logging and i will try to reproduce the problem.
And give you some more detailed info.

I have some problems in copying files from sd to external sd, system hang and reboot.
Seems that have some issue to write in external sd.
Happen 2 times.

Hi pawitp

I need to report 2 random reboots or rather 1 shutdown and 1 reboot in build 13. No mods whatsoever...everything is stock

Situation 1: THe phone was connected to my car's bluetooth. After a while and exiting my car, when I tried to switch on the screen, it was blank. At first I thought it was an SOD but then the soft keys weren't glowing..so it was shutdown...don't know why...

Situation 2: I was using a phone..flipping through the screens, checking android pro widgets...then I tried to make a call and the phone went kapoot...it restarted...

Absolutely random events..2nd day of build 13....any suggestions?

    Google Apps Fixer will fix your problem with not being able to add Google Account or Calendar Sync, but will also reset your Google Apps data. Only flash if you're having problems.     Installation

    - First time flashing ICS to your Galaxy S (or coming from another ROM)?
    1. Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
    2. Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
    3. Do a Nandroid backup!
    4. WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
    5. Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
    6. Optionally install the Google Addon
    7. WIPE again or Calendar Sync will not work.
    - Upgrading from CM7?
    1. Do a Nandroid Backup!

    3. Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery

    Install the latest build and gapps and gapps fixer. If it still doesn't work, wipe your data.

    App X isn't working!
    Check the list at http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1402210 (unaffiliated with teamhacksung) first and check if it works on other ICS phones. Most likely, it's the application's problem, not ours.

    Can I mount the phone as mass storage via USB?
    Starting from BUILD12, mass storage is the default configuration (might not apply to existing installations). The below command can be used to change into USB Mass Storage mode. USB Mass Storage mode is always used in recovery.

    The screenshot taking function is built into ICS. Hold volume down + power.

    Can I use CM7 kernels?
    No, the kernel has modifications to make graphics, camera, data counter and data limit work.

    Can I disable LED Notification?
    Yes. Untick Settings -> Display -> Pulse notification light.

    Maps keeps asking me to sign in even though I'm signed in!
    Ignore the sign in dialog and pull down the notification menu. Answer the request for permission. Do this a few times and Maps will work.

    How do I enter Galaxy S Settings (Device Settings)?
    Type "am start com.cyanogenmod.AriesParts/.AriesParts" from adb. Or starting from BUILD 7, it is available as an icon in your launcher.

    How do I enter service mode?
    Type "*#*#197328640#*#*" into the dialer.

    Is there a Captivate/Vibrant version?
    A captivate build from the same source (but with captivate config) is available here. We currently lack a developer/maintainer for Vibrant.

    Does this work for I9000B?
    No, the I9000B requires a different kernel configuration. A build for I9000B may be added later in the process.

    What's working? Why is there only a list of issues?
    Everything else not listed are supposed to be working (aside from the usual CM7 bugs). If they're not listed, please post so that they can be added to the list of issues. A list of issues is far more useful from a development standpoint.

    Why am I getting notified that my data partition is getting full when I have 1+ GB free?
    Your /datadata partition, a smaller partition, is getting full. System automatically clears the cache when the space is low. The problem with "low space" is that you have too many applications installing libraries in /datadata (which can be solved by moving the said app to SD). It's a Galaxy S-specific problem (with our sucky NAND) and thus a general solution cannot be implemented.

    I want to install gazillion apps on my phone and /datadata is too small
    Run the following and datadata will no longer be used on next reboot. Your phone might become slower though.

    Run "adb root" to restart adb in root mode.

    Why is "Android OS" battery usage so high?
    It's just a reporting change in ICS. Android OS now includes battery usage from more components than in Gingerbread, the actual battery drain is the same.

    What is "Random Offset" during installation?
    It's just a harmless message given as a verbose logging due to the new ASLR security feature in ICS. It is not an error.
    (NOTE: Newer BUILDs might have it removed.)

    What do you mean by "wipe"?
    A wipe, unless specified otherwise, means running a "factory reset" from CWM Recvoery. This will clear all your installed apps/settings but will keep your /sdcard in tact.

    A cache wipe is the wipe of /cache (which is mostly unused) and will not cause you to loose any data.

    How do I get the latest version of Rom Manager without market?
    If the bundled version doesn't work, update from http://download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/RomManager.apk.

    How do I setup Rom Manager?
    Menu -> Manual Flash Override -> OK -> Samsung GalaxyS i9000 (MTD) -> ClockworkMod 3.x+
