Applied the classic circle battery and got put into a boot loop. On skyraider 3.3.2. Did cache wipe and dalvik wipe. Tried redownloading file and applying again. Another boot loop. Just to put that out there.

Known issues with applying themes to skyraider 3.3 roms. Sorry I will put that in op.

Is there a simple way to add one of these to a stock Froyo ROM? I am rooted and have S-OFF, but from what I understand the ROM needs to be deodexed in order to add one of these. Is there no simple way to de-odex the stock Froyo ROM?

Cheers

what you would have to do is download a rom that is already dodexed. virtuous has a stock
rom that is deodexed
if you flash one of the battery icoms on this it will change some of the stuff to red because its based of my rom. do a nand backup
and try the deodexed rom with my battery patch and let me know how it works out.

I'm currently running SkyRaider 3.3 and I've tried several different roms and it's the one that suits my needs the best. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem like any mods are compatible with this rom. Nor do many people make themes for this rom. Would it be possible do make the circle battery mod work on SkyRaider?

hey man these look pretty slick and i really dig the liquid one. any chance you could make a black version of the liquid? I have a solid white background for instance and id like to have them all black except the 15% and under. red is fine there, orange would be awesome. also im running ultimate droid on incredible so all im asking for is the images, i'll just have to swap out the png's within the framework myself which is no problem but i would only need animations for 0,1,2,3,4,5. although ive wondered if i could implement more animations and battery status levels other than 0,10,20,40,60,80,100. i've never found info on that subject. anyways enough rambling let me know if you can do it your work is appreciated. :cool:

Soo, I think something went awry... As you can see in the pics I've attached, on Myn's two point two, when plugged in I get the sweet circle battery icon. When it's unplugged, I get... umm... that thing. Any help? (maybe I can assist the people in the future? lol) Thanks well in advance.

    hmm yes that is a smart idea, i could do that.

    Emailed apk

    i was able to decompile your XMLs and saw it was linking with resource_ids. could you also directly link to the png such as:
    Code:
    <item android:maxLevel="100" android:drawable="@android:drawable-hdpi/stat_sys_battery_100" />
    learned about that by googling the past few minutes.. i would try it myself, but i only know how to decompile, not compile :(

    I'll mess with your framework later tonight if you don't figure it out before that.
