I am using an app called "hide statusbar". Not sure if u can find it in the app store, but Google is your friend

All depends mate.
There may be improvements from what you have now., or not. Or just experiment ?
If you're going to flash, more than likely you'll have to re-instal CWM Recovery / re root after.
Just make sure you CWM backup (nandroid) before so you can restore your current system if you're not happy, or get into trouble. Also backup apps and data with Titanium Backup (pro) or My Backup Root etc. so you can restore your apps and data. Never restore any system apps or data, especially from different ROMs.

My advice to you is to follow the proven guides using Odin 1.85.
Ensure Kies drivers are loaded, but kies not running with using Odin at the same time. They don't play well together.
You don't want to be yet another "plz help I'm bricked" post! Do you?

You didn't answer me before, so did you get any serial no. when typing "adb devices" into CMD ?
If no.
Do you remember if USB debugging is enabled in settings? Without it, adb won't work with the tab powered ! But will work from recovery.1
Screenshot looks good. Press <START> and wait.
It should reboot automatically after successful flash. Be patient with the reboot.1
