by default this is what android phones are programmed to do...

I have been using this rom for quite some time now.... No doubt its awesome but for me the ram usage is little too high...

The normal usage with whatsapp is 190-200 MB and the best I get after clearing is 145MB.... Any solutions? I am using Fly On Mod then also the results are the same

It is closest to stock. No init.d tweaks whatsover included. Try combination of various possible tweaks out there to achieve desirable structure.

Adrenaline Engine is good enough alone. Backup before flashing is recommended though!
