Hi guys

What are you using for backing up SMS-messages, contacts and stuff?

I've tried SPB backup and PIM backup but those doesn't seem to work correctly under Sense.

Thx!

Edit. After some research on my own post there seems to be no way to backup MMS. The above mentioned programs work great for every other task, but images in MMS ends up as blanks. Saving each image to SD-card is the bare half-way solution :)

Pls try the following trick:
- Insert your sim card.
- hardreset the device: (turn off, press volup+voldown and hit the power button.
- the device will start run the customization and then restart.
- when the device restart, just hit a few time the top left corner of the screen, until you see the dropdown icon menu to appear. Also hit the topbar to get the HTC notification black screen. You can also hit the send button to insert the pin.

After that the device should start without problems.

Pls revert with your feedback.

I flashed phone again and sense appeared :)

freeze on lock scren

Hi.
to strat,... great rom, one of the best roms (if not the best), congratulations.
as a new rom, there is small problems (bugs), that we , like users,try to tell you in order to improve your great work.
so, i installed the rom and i used since 06 aug.
there is the "bugs" that i found:
- freeze on lock screen ( sometimes, if the phone are on lock screen and someone call you, before apear the name of the caller the phone totaly freeze, not all the time. I fix this removing the batt and rebbot the phone

- when you lost a call and you disable the lockscreen to see who call you, sometimes dont appear the icon on top bar with the icon of lost call, you only see if you go to call history. After you block again the phone with lockscrenn buttom, the information icons (about lost calls, emails and messages, dont desapear and freeze the phone, once again.

i appreciate if you fix this.

Which Radio ist the best for this rom? I need a good battery life!

I installed 1.14 + Rilphone 14... only one day of battery life!

I'd say it's more about the ROM rather then radio and ril. I had a standby for more then a week with another Rom. This Rom gives me a day or two at max. That with exact same radio and ril, 1.14.

Edit. Have now installed radio1.17 and ril 1.15. Let's see how that goes :p

Are you using pin lock?
I'm working on changing the lockscreen. the oboe lockscreen doesn't work accurate on the resistive screens (like our blackstone). I'll post update when back home.

The best radio for this ROM is the 1.17.

Ligth/fast ROM is being cooked. I'm doing the fine tunning for max speed/reliability.
New version for Premium Edge with will also be posted.

awesome rom, really like it, only thing i really hate is the lockscreen, it choppy and unresponsive.

Great rom, only serious problem im having is since loading it my recieved MMS are being downloaded as tiny pics.. and not larger full screen files as it was before..
Anyone know a fix?

    I've been developing these ROMs aiming to get the most of our HTC Blackstone.
    They include full Sense 2.5.2021 and intend to be fast and stable for everyday use.

    New release includes:
    - Swift EDGE V4.6
    - Premium EDGE V4.6

    The main changes/improvements are.
    - Release of the Premium Slim version.
    - Removed MS Marketplace and replaced by Omarket.

    Blackstone Swift EDGE
    The Swift EDGE is to be considered close to the stock ROMs by HTC.
    Essential software is included, and there is very little customization.
    It is intended for faster response and best battery life.

    Blackstone Premium EDGE
    This premium ROM is fully featured and tweaked to get most of your phone.
    Includes applications for a full experience with media, internet, social networks and gaming.
    Improved appearance and usability.

    Blackstone Premium EDGE Slim (new)
    Most of programs of the premium are included, but some has been removed to improve battery life and make easier to use.

    For best results suggest follow the flashing instructions included on the compressed file.
    - Full battery charge before flashing (until you get the green led)
    - Use Task29 first (this will format your internal memory) take battery out and go into bootloader again.
    - Use task 28 to flash the rom.
    - Hard reset is recommended just after first boot (remove battery, place it again and press vol up + vol down + power).

    Customize your EDGE ROM

    Add ons:
    - Enable Media control on Lockscreen: use this cab. Note: This Lockscreen is less memory efficient. Restart is required to work. Note: only valid on Premium V4.3.1 and newer.
    - Manila A2DP fix. Allows you to control Manila Music with your BT headsets.

    - Enable Autorotation of Sense: use this cab. Warning: normally it wil work ok, but in some cases locking the device when it's in landscape could freeze it. Try avoid locking when in landscape. If freezes, just pull the battery out.
    - Manila change language: If you change the registry to get Manila in other language, you also need to install this cab to include the removed files: cab

    - Overclocking: use this tool.

    Known Issue on the EDGE Rom versions:
    During the first start of the device, it may freeze on the white screen or just showing the background.
    in order to avoid this problem, please charge your battery fully before flashing.

    If you are not able to boot the Rom try hardrest and reflashing and send me a private message.


    Bugs found on latest version:
    The fixes for the bugs reported on the previous version have been fixed on the V4.3.1.
    If you find any bug, pls advise and I’ll try to fix it asap.
