btw the only thing you need to fastboot flash after installing a rom is the boot.img of a kernel....make sure you grab a compatible one for the rom you choose

I re-installed CWM 220.127.116.11 Touch Recovery, used cleanwipe to clean up the internal sd again, flashed a rom, flashed a kernel - booted it up and let it run for a few... then flashed gapps and we are back in business on Liquidsmooth v2.9 with HIRO/+ Kernel.
