K, two things first, those who are having issues with pics showing on apps, xda app, flipboard, be sure to uncheck force GPU rendering in developer settings. Second, those that claim you can't control vol, I say placebo effect. I played a YouTube bid, I turned down all the way up then slowly down. I noticed a difference while turning it down.

Sent with AOKP goodness :D

Honestly I really wish it was a placebo effect. It appears to only happen with music apps for me. Try playing two songs with google music with headphones and it will become instantly noticeable.

Have you talked to anyone and if so did they say anything about sounding like you are under water? If you wouldn't mind, can you give me exact steps how you flashed the latest build? Because I can give it another shot. Thanks

No under water sound/echo. I've already tested it calling landlines and cellphones and I'm happy to report that I have 0 issues.

Build 0531-02
LDE ICS Radio

I was running Darkside Beta 06 and using the same radio.

*Wiped 3 times using the Darkside super wipe script.
*Flash ROM
*Flash Gapps.
*Reboot system
*Let it sit a little over 10 minutes
*Reboot
*Waited a few more minutes then signed into Google.
*Google restored all my apps. (I didn't mess with anything while that was getting done).
*Reboot one more time after my apps were restored by Google.
*Set everything up.

Note: I did not restore any app data at all.

It might sound a little to much but it worked for me.

When you let google restore.. Was there an option that came up for you to not restore app data?? how did you do that?

I realize I may get killed for asking this, but can anyone speak to whether we need to do a full wipe for each new nightly, or can we install right on top? I did search for this, but didn't see anything. Really. I did.

It's best to run the darkside superwipe before you flash a new ROM.

Build 38 just came out for some devices and they're talking about "Nav bar widgets"... What in the world?
Any chance we can get a taste of this too? Lol

They're there.

This IS build 38. It just doesn't say 38.

Didn't include the new bootani though, so I attached it at the bottom.

Time to backup then! Lmao
That's bro.. Much appreciate it!

EDIT: Where exactly should we push the boot animation to?

Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

System/media/bootanimation.zip
Rename the new one to bootanimation.zip and old one to whatever u want

Edit: maybe I should take my own advice... lol ... just rebooted without renaming and took me back to old g1 days got the old "chrome" android boot

Just added hercules to the official AOKP build list. Every time a new AOKP build is released you can find it for hercules on http://aokp.co/index.php/releases.

    Huzzah!

just tried that, doesnt work and i friggin want this theme lol, it says "this theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied.

That randomly happens with themes sometimes. The way to fix is change back to the "system" theme, reboot, then apply the new theme and it should work np.

Also, uploading build 0621 now. Changes included:

~some audio changes (no idea if pandora is fixed, I no longer have this phone)
    ~SNEAK PEAK AT UPCOMING FEATURES
    - Weather panel on lockscreen
    - Weather panel on pulldown shows when it was last updated
    - DRM blobs included so Hulu Plus should now work (this might have been in previous update...)
    - NFC polling (settings > more...)
    - NEW ACHROMATIC THEME BY KWES1020
~ not final version as it still needs tweaking - will be included in AOKP in the future.

    EDIT: new build is up!
