Anyone else having trouble charging(really anything USB related) with 1.9? I have to reboot before it detects that i plugged it into the power block or USB port
Same issue here, has happened with previous versions of the ROM as well on both, Sync and Charging mode. Cable is discarded as just rebooting solves the issue

There is a number of similar complaints in Clemsyn's thread on v16 kernel so it might as well be a kernel issue.

As for other reports... Well, personally for me 1.9 is the most polished and the smoothest rom to date, and I've tried them all. Battery ife is great as well, 3g version or not.

Maybe it's been fixed in this release, gonna flash it tonight. But when you long-press the power button and get the reboot menu, there is no way out of it -- you have to reboot or shut down, the back button does not work. Normally not an issue, but I've grabbed my tab a few times where the power button is and brought up the menu, and then groaned loudly when realizing I could only reboot to make it go away.

You have to press the power button again after you get the reboot menu. Do not long press, just press it for screen off. No need to reboot!!!

Just need to hit the power button once more to shut off the screen, then wake it back up. That should get it off the screen for you.

I just tested it. Didn't work. Anyone else notice worse battery performance?

Work fine here
-Long press get the menu to reboot, Recovery, shutdown
-hit the power button again, screen goes off
-hit power button and screen come on like normal.

Battery is fine for me.

Anyone else happen to notice that Netflix doesn't show up in the market even though Asus now supports it?

Asus did their part to make it compatible, it's up to Netflix to release it for
HC or not.
WIth that said new update NF v1.4 working great on the TF.:D

Apparently you have to have the lockscreen enabled for this to work. I don't have it enabled because I don't carry it around in my pocket or backpack where the power button can get jostled, so it's an unnecessary step for me :) I guess I'll live with the occasional reboot.

My 5 cents on mobile data battery drain issue... In fact, no issues here. Battery life is still ok, even if statistic shows a lot was drained by mobile data. Even more - after I've upgraded from 1.8.4 to 1.9 battery usage graph IMMEDIATELY shows that 40%-ish of juice was used on mobile, which is obviously wrong.

Nothing else to report yet. Don't have 3g dongle, so I can't check it out. But maybe I will.

I wanted to add something to this: I think it's mostly a visualization issue... As soon as I flashed the rom I checked the battery and it had been using lots of power for the 3g for an hour or so. Even before the rom supported it, so my guess is just a random issue with how the data is shown. I might be wrong, obviously.

Sorry, we've narrowed it down to the clemsyn 16b kernel. I'm on stock 1.9 prike kernel and it has no more issues. you can put on 15a(not b) kernel with 1.9 until clemsyn outs out 17b

No but if you sideload either version 1.3 or 1.4 it will work.
On the Asus' FB page, one day Asus say hooray, Netflix support. The next day they back tracked on the infos. saying something like it was a mistake. I think NF didn't like what they posted.:D

Is cool, I just did what any other self-respecting Android junkie would do, I headed over to the apps and themes section and downloaded the side load app

    PRIME! v2.1.0 Vanilla

This is a ROM for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101

    Special thanks to: CaNsA | Hacre | afm | MoDaCo | dc13 | supercurio | Bumble-Bee | RaYmAn | netarchy | Vividboarder | CurtisBeef

This rom is a work in progress and all feedback is appreciated. It is build from the stock rom and has a few tweaks added. As always whenever installing any rom, please take care to follow instructions as no one enjoys seeing their prized possesion not working.

    Instructions for CWM Recovery version:
    1. Copy ROM to sdcard
    2. Verify the MD5 of the zip on the sdcard, DO NOT FLASH IF THIS DOESN'T MATCH THE MD5 UNDER THE DOWNLOAD LINK!
    3. Boot into clockworkmod recovery
    4. Take a nandroid backup (optional but highly recommended)
    5. Install the ROM
    6. Reboot and wait... The more apps you have installed the longer the first boot will take... Please note that after the lock screen comes up your TF may be sluggish for a minute while the rom initialises.
    7. Install any available patch versions for cumulative updates between full releases.

    Rom Details:
    Android 3.2.1
    GPS - V5.5.8
    WiFi - V5.2.65
    Bluetooth - V6.24
Kernel - 2.6.36.3 (Stock) - CUSTOM OC KERNEL IN POST 2

    Build - HTK75.prime_epad-2.1.0-20111105
MobileDock Firmware- EP101-0213 (Prompts for install after first boot if required)

Note that this only works from the home screen and looks weird when you go in to standby from within an app.
If you display does bork then sometimes a long press of the power button (2 secs) brings it back. Once though my display blacked out and I had to hard reboot the tab.

I've attached the VRThemed Puccini home buttons for those that preferred them over the new ICS ones. Thanks to dwillMUFC for the zip.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NVFLASH VERSION CAN ONLY BE USED ON AN SBK1 DEVICE

Q: Do I need to root before I flash this.
A: No, Simply use the Latest NVFLASH version available to install a custom rom and clockworkmod recovery. Then if required, upgrade to the latest version of Prime.

Q: Do I need to wipe before installing Prime?
A: In general a wipe should not be required if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Prime but if you experience any sluggishness or are coming from another rom then a wipe Should be performed before installing the rom. My advice is to take a backup before installing any rom, give it a try and if you get any errors or issues then perform a factory reset either from Settings - Privacy or perform a wipe from Clockworkmod Recovery.

Q: Do 3G USB Dongles work with this
A: Currently only HUAWEI dongles are working. The 3G settings can be activated by using the 3G Toggler App.

A: Zion is where free humans live.

    Alright.

In general, it is ok to remind members to ask questions in the General or Q&A section of a forum. It is NOT ok to make them point of ridicule if they make a mistake.

Consider this a warning. I will start infracting or banning if this behaviour continues.

    Let's continue DEVELOPMENT in here.
