Brought this little girl home from the tierheim (animal shelter) this week. Little Ghia. She was brought to Germany from Turkey and a family with way to many kids adopted her. Well what's expected happened with little children and a Chihuahua. She snapped at one of the kids while being teased and back the tierheim she went. Well after a couple visits and walks with her, and a few scary stories from the employees telling me how bad she is with kids and other dogs and how she likes to destroy stuff, I decided to bring her home. She ended up being completely calm with us. I brought her for walks around other dogs to start socializing her and guess what, not on problem. She was perfect with every dog she has been around. I held her as a few kids came up to pet her and she let them pet her no problem. Goes to show that the wrong home and family can give a dog a bad wrap.

55My photo
This photo was taken as I was nearing a town called Cabo Rojo in Puerto Rico. My high end camera was packed in the trunk, and had to take the shot for fear of missing the moment. Thankfully I had my Infuse... i didn't expect the photo to look this good. The texture of the clouds and the rain at the horizon at dusk were incredible.4First day at octoberfest. Waited 2 hours in the rain then another 3 inside the tent to make sure we were there for the first beers of the year. It was worth it. First pic is where the band was so you can see how great our seats were and second is my wife and I. You all know what the third one is. :beer:
