I mean the kernel part of the ROM. If I use the stock kernel with CM9 (again, CM9 ROM minus the kernel), will it boot. In LG P990, the CM7/9 would not boot with the stock kernel. There were some heavy modifications by rmcc that worked with the rest of the CM rom

Arent u using a sense kernel too?
Actually a guy whipped up a Htc Desire rom in dsixda's kitchen and it booted nicely,just like that with stock kernel

For desire sense kernels didn't work to well, but if it does for you then great:)
Zimage is the same anyway, just need tochange the ramdisk.

If you were talking about the prioperitary files then you can just pull them:)

I'm trying to push one more build before I stop the One V adventure. To annoying without the phone and takes to much time and I really doubt I can afford this phone with donations either.

Something went wrong with the last changes , so the device tree is borked, but me and lloir is trying to fix that before I stop completly.

Good luck to whoever continue the work

Alpha 0.4 will either be my last or lloirs first ROM:)

Hopefully we get the error in the device folder fixed, if not it's a lot more work

    Okey I talked to some members on this forum that asked me to help out getting a asop/cm9 version up and running for your phone. I don't have this phone but I'm giving it a try anyway.

    Please don't use this rom for MOD's without permissions. Lets try getting it to work first!!!

    This thread will be more organized and better looking after a while.

    I don't have the device so deving isn't that easy. Luckily I've had good help from Lloir, I'm going to set up a channel on IRC freenode server so everyone can help and get support.

    Development will probably be a bit slow until I get the device. If you want donate so I can afford the device then it's possible through paypal.
