Can anyone tell me how to change the DPI without changing the colors in paranoid settings, or is that part of the known bug? Before this update i was able to change the DIP layout without changing the colors. Right now I'm trying to change the settings in the stock email app but every time i change the DIP setting, it changes the colors of my status bar too. Even when i click "automatic color" it always colors the status bar still. Any ideas?

Make sure Expert Mode is enabled -> Apps -> Email -> (Turn phone to Landscape Mode) -> Size/Layout slider to whatever DPI you want.

Sounds like you're changing DPI using the big colored stuff.

Hmm, that's where I was (accessed it through the settings toggle in my pull down menu tho) but very time I touched the DPI slider and saved, it would color my notification bar too even if i didn't touch the colors options. I wound up going into 'interface' and unchecking the 'enable per app color'. Rebooted and now it's working. I just looked though again though and I didn't have expert mode on so maybe that was it. Oh well. Working now, thanks again for keeping this ROM fresh for us!

Sound settings crash

On i777 the sound settings crash when opening.
Upgraded from JellyBAM 7.5.0 without full wipe

Interestingly, a few releases back JellyBam had the same issue which was later resolved... don't remember in which release.

Flashed after a clean install like the op said. Everything was solid. Restored all apps from tibu, everything good until I went change the font using rom toolbox. When u rebooted, it hung on the bootloader for ever, never even made it to the rom booting. I had to restore nandroid but going to try again without changing the font. Honestly is the only thingi changed and it went bunkers lol. Can't wait as it looks solid.

Best NOT to use rom toolbox for our device; too many files are old or not compatible with it.

I know now that now, the hard way I must say,but I'm good now. I love a font there I want to put back on my phone (chicanacat). I have to google a bit how to do it :D

There are still some pretty serious bugs cropping up in the nightlies and I like porting relatively stable versions (as we have a rather large userbase now). I'm keeping an eye on things, as soon as a stable nightly comes out I'll get it ported. For now, sit tight, tons of PACman goodness is on the way!

Sounds awesome. Deffinetly liking it so far. Only a few bugs so far, all known (clock issue, dpi settings). Running on demand/ cfq and getting pretty good battery, not many freezes, pretty responsive. I asked about the nightlies i wasn't sure you would continue the support. Love the rom for sure, thanks.

    PIE FAQ

    Q. What is PIE?
    A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.

    Q. How do I access Pie?
    A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.

    Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
    A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.

    Q. How do I change PIE colors?
    A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.

    Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
    A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the trigger area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings.

    Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
    A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.

    ROM FAQ

    Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
    A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.

    Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
    A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.

    Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
    A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. For i9100 users, make sure you are using the latest Dorimax kernel, for i777 users stick with the CM kernel provided. That should solve half the problems. If it persists, backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.

    We are now Official!​

    Thanks to @Sblood86 and @bluefa1con the i777 is now officially supported by Pacman! I have updated the OP with @Sblood86 buildbot. We have been having some issues getting it to boot correctly; I'll leave it to him to explain what's up with that though.

    Expect a 4.3 build soon!

    Hey y'all... I've been talking with IconRunner and some of the PAC-man devs; got you guys an official build.

    Missed the first round of nightlies cause apparently I can't type ;) but rc1 was posted to the pacman server last night.

    So far all my random bugs have been resolved running this; I have working dockbar options in landscape (which I didn't before) and my gps is working fine. IconRunner was talking about trying to move this thread from ported development to development so we could maintain the history.

    In the meantime if you guys are looking for something current you might want to grab the rc1 :D
