[Q] HTC My touch 3g slide [1] Illegal Instruction

I'm folowing the steps given in the following link to flash my 3G slide with Cyanogen 7

when i finish typing these comands I get this [1] Illegal Instruction error.


cd /data/local
chmod 04755 *
/data/local/flash_image misc /data/local/mtd0.img

the system replies [1] Illegal Instruction

Any ideas???

as for me this way of rooting and flashing CM is the easiest - you don't need to bother with a goldcards, CLI and so on - the HTC updater will do all the work needed
