[Q] Original Nexus ROM +Transparent Navbar?

Hey Experts,

here's the question: Is it possible to get transparent navbar on my Nexus 4? Is it possible to stay also at original ROM with OTA Updates?

At the moment it is Original Android 4.4.2 (KOT49H) on my Device. No Root / No s-on.

Unless Google release a stock version with it, no.

By the way, the s-on/off is a HTC thing. :D:cool:

Did you try to install manually Google experience launcher?
You will get transparent navbar then.

No, not yet - is there a link to apk 4 me and do i need root to install?

Edit: Found actual only information about rename from GEL to Google Nox Launcher + Google Home-App (Version 3.2). Is this the same? No information if transparent navbar is inclusive. :(

Thanks for that link. It won't do me any good though. What I mean is, the only time a stock rom is on my phone is when I buy it. I was under the impression that in order to utilize all the features of the GEL you had to be rooted. Think I'll stay away from stock related questions. :confused::eek:
