[ROM][UHLPS] Pure ICS v7.6 & New AOSP Package [16-Jun-2012]

Hy guys - running 7.1 on 2 of my phones but the one won't allow calls incoming. I can make out going calls but as soon as an incoming call happens the phone freezes and then looses all network.

Had problems using 7.2, apps would close constantly.

Any idea's?

I get android.phone has closed

Regarding AOSP calendar, I copied Calendar.apk and CalendarProvider.apk from the old Special Edition to system/apps/ and it seems to work fine so far.

Hey all,
I flashed the new update (v7. 2) but the stock wallpaper changer app (the one which has all the stock ics wallpapers on it) won't work, when I try and use it to change a wallpaper it just fcs, can someone please provide a fix??.

And can anyone tell me how I can extract the stock ics wallpapers from the apex launcher?? As I want to copy them to my other phones. I have Googled it, but I can't figure out how to do it!.

It is a really great rom, way better then any other time I have used. And I really like the pure ics ui, great work spike.

Hi guys! Spike's ROMs is the best for AOSP!
I come from 7.0 and I would want to know if is there any way to install 7.2 without full wipe...

Can you check if "Force GPU Rendering" in Developer Options is unchecked. if its checked, then uncheck it. I too had similar issue and this fixed. Hope it works for you as well..

Lowering the DPI allows you to squeeze in more information on your phone's display. Some people prefer that.

Btw guys is anyone having GPS issues on their phone? I can get a lock using the "Google Location Service" from network/wifi but GPS using satelites alone cannot connect AT ALL. Also, the notification looks weird. Like so:

The GPS notification isn't round

Want to know if my GPS issue is only where I live or if it's my phone or if it's something to do with the ROM? Chip in with whether GPS works for you please

EDIT: Btw GPS doesn't work on 7.1 nor 7.2

Another point to consider: Vibration when call connects is kind of weak. It was much better in the previous versions. Thanks!

Quick question. I am very interested in flashing this rom. But before I do so.

1. I am looking for a rom that is based on vert's ICS theme. Is the theme ICS Domination 4.1 for LP4? If not, is it possible to update to that theme?

2. I prefer samsung apps rather than AOSP's. And would just like to clarify if the base rom as written in the description is all stock. Meaning that it doesn't have any AOSP apks and that to have this AOSP you have to apply the add-ons? Correct me please if I am wrong.

3. Are any of you using siyahkernel 3.0 in this rom? Is it stable?

4. What DPI does this rom use?

gps needs conecting to satellites have u tried outdoor ?

this is a known issue. have seen on any other roms. use stock one this is why it placed there.

1.yea vertumus 4.1 and also themed more.
2.rom is running on samsung apps and you can flash aosp stuff if you would like.
(some samsung application are removed)
3.it depends on siyah not the rom. siyah is developing for rom not rom for siyah.
is siyah in stable stage ?
4. untuched !

Yup I've definitely tried it outdoors, no luck at all. As in it's not slow at connecting, it just won't connect AT ALL. I can leave Google Maps open for 30 mins and it'll be searching for GPS all the time.

i have tried right after your post. no problem
try another rom and if no lock then you should be sure its hardware issue

Thanks for the super speedy response. Was working on GB so I knew it can't be hardware. I just got it working using those GPS apps on Play Store so I don't have to try another rom any more

Great ROM, 7.2 is much more stable, no FC till the moment and "everything" works.

Sugestions:
Fix the problem/incompatibility with AOSP Calendar.
Include Google News & Weather or make an AddOn with it.

ROM looks good!

I want to give it a try but I have few questions:

- the only AOSP apps are Contacts and text?

- Rest of the Google apps are still the same as gingerbread? or Samsung updated those? (e.g. stock email in GB did not have checkbox to select multiple emails. ICS one is supposed to have it).

- Also, Which launcher this rom has?
