[APP][0.8.0.8.1] Incoming Call Plus BETA (10/22/10)

i would love this. ive got an awesome call screen already from the theme im using and dont want to lose it. Id even pay for this if it was just standalone.
Update will be out shortly. It is a big one.
Version 0.8.0 does not provide any new features but I have completely changed the way the call screen is shown and in my testing it worked 100% of the time. In previous versions, some calls would show stock call screen instead. That problem *should* be completely eliminated now. Of course, new code comes with new bugs so be prepared! Although I do consider the new version to be stable (unlike previous versions) there may be bugs I do not know about. They will be fixed when they appear though. For those of you interested, the update will be ready in the next 30 minutes.
I do plan on making this app theme compatible in the future so that people can make their own themes for it. Also, the arrangement of the buttons and text will be customizable. That being said, I may still look into a standalone feature for those who prefer their own call screens.

Found it...I did a search for incoming calls, not incoming call...
I'm still not sure what it is spose to do? I added some contacts. Called my cell from home and had the same ole incoming
call screen. What do I do to get it to look the samples from page 1?

Doesn't work well on my Wildfire (QVGA resolution). You can only see about 1px high green and red strips of the answer/reject buttons and it's _really_ hard to click them.
Localization
I have made a danish translation. I urge anyone out there to localize it to their own language, and hopefully they will get included in the final version.

The app currently only supports large displays but works also on medium displays. I will be adding official support for med and low res screens very soon. Thanks for your patience.

The only thing is the pictures stored are very small. So the only way to make them larger or full screen is to stretch them a lot which makes them look very blurry and distorted.
Great app, I've been looking for that functionality from the beginning.
However, with my Galaxy S the app doesnt work all the time.. I've still got to figure out on which occasions it works and on which it doesnt.
I've got the newest version of the app...
The problem is the same with two Galaxy S phones (both run older - but different - Eclair versions).

Thanks I will! Haven't updated in a while BECAUSE 0.8.0 brought some unwanted side effects. They are my focus for now and an update can be expected soon

i love the concept the only thing i do not like that it takes a really long time to get it running like once it starts receiving the call the screen comes in 10-15 seconds after it received it....but anyway i still like it ...droid eris and nexus one
Awesome, works great. Comes up faster than stock call screen (Captivate)
Bug: Incoming call (while ringing) does not force the screen to stay on. If coming out of lock, it goes black after just a few seconds.

Bug: If I pressed the volume buttons during an incoming call, it just kept ringing forever even when the screen returned to normal (stopped when I opened the missed call screen). Also the ringer volume didn't change when the button were pushed.

The big buttons made it super easy to use and the reject with text was very good.
Maybe make it so the user can customize what he/she wants under reject with text in the app so that they have more options.

2Incoming Call Plus is an incoming call screen that is going to be fully customizable. It is currently in early development with limited features. This is the Incoming Call Plus public beta. To anyone who uninstalled due to inconsistency in call screen, please give 0.8.0 a try. You will not be disappointed
Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been very busy. 0.8.0 introduced a lot more bugs and instability than I had expected but pretty much everything should be fixed in 0.8.0.7. If you find something please let me know! Now that the app is at a good point of stability, I will be adding more features and customizations. I promise! First thing to come is QVGA support.
