Unless you are someplace international
and not here in the good old USA then
you should not flash/install any modems unless you want to learn about soft bricks.
If you start flashing modems you will end up with a soft brick that can only be fixed by
Odin flashing the official stock un-rooted M919 tmobile rom found at SamMobile.com.
You can try flashing/installing different kernels which could possibly give you more signal bars.
