What's your problem? Oo you can replace system apks like before! Copy them to system/app and set permissions to rw-r--r--.. Nothing has changed! If you do it using a zip file it's exactly the same!
I'm aware of the contacts problem.. The vrtheme somehow breaks the manifest.. As it only appears randomly it works for the most but for some it doesn't.. I tried fixing it I'm my rom by flashing the whole (themed) apk and it seems to work.
I'll update the theme with the same flash-method next week ;)

Whats the name of that app? Also.. let see if I get it. I need to unzip the leaked 2.0 file. Extract de dialer contacts apk (if any of you may give me the name of those 2 apks would be gr8) and set the 2 apks con the system app folder? I set the permissions before the copy?

Root Explorer

Don't know what you will do. Setting permissions can only be done when file is copied.

Do you have Titanium Backup? If so you can restore a complete application.

so if i want to fix that dialer/contacts issue, wich APKS i most flash, and how can i make a flasheable apk ?. i unziped the 2.0 but i cannot find any dialer/contact apk in there. even on the trans folder that is the ones im looking for.

i flashed 2 times the theme from recovery but the issue is still there.
any ideas?

Yes i ahve Titanium Backup , but , what do you suggest ? . backup the stock contact/telephoneapk then flashing the Theme and then restore the backup of the stock apks? .. but i think, if i do that i wont get any transparency on dialer and contacts. and thats basically what im looking for .. any suggestion?

Contacts / Dialer FIX

DIALES / CONTACTS ISSUE FIX


If you already have installed the theme and you cannot open contacts or dialer app.
FIRST : Download ""SecContatcs.apk" and "SecPhone.apk"" From the links above.
SecContacts.apk
SecPhone.apk

Now copy those files to your phone or if you just downloaded them directly in your phone do the following:

-Go to Root Explorer, and copy "SecContatcs.apk" and "SecPhone.apk" (the files you just downloaded and copied in your externalSD)
-And now OVERWRITE them in the system/app folder . (do not move the files, Copy them so you can save a backup of the working files)
-Now the Dialer/contacts icon on the desktop should be gone.
-Reboot your phone and Look on the Last page of the apps menu and you will see the "contacts / dialer" icons, and of course, working with transparency as hell.

Good Luck ! :good::D


IF THE FILES YOU JUST DOWNLOADED DOESN'T WORK Do the following:


Download and Flash the RESTORE PACK zip file from the link above.

-Now with Root Explorer, GO to System/app folder
-Look for 2 files called "SecContatcs.apk" and "SecPhone.apk"
-Now copy those 2 files to your externalSD (any location that you could remember)

Now install the DreamTheme 4.2.2 v2.0 from the link above

No problem! i had this issue too and with some suggestions of advanced users on the thread i could fix the bug.

PD: Your english sounds like a venezolano. haha (i am from venezuela)

there is a problem which make me sad :(
try to play any video on ur phone
with sam player
after the play bar dissapear
the video will play with sound only :(

just try to play any video . and u will know the issue

i hope u understood what i have say :(

Read the op and you'll see it's a know issue. Switch to another player(eg mx player which is much better than stock) and the problem is gone.

Hello everyone, i noticed a bug in Aroma flashing this theme. If i tap on back button, after a while Aroma crashes and i have to remove the battery and flash again the theme. Is it normal? Thank you for the answer :)

Sorry unfortunately it's normal. It's a know bug of the aroma installer.. On my rom I just updated the installer and the problem seems to be gone. I'll update the installer in the theme too later this day ;) then the problem should be gone

    Hey everybody :)
    Maybe some of you already know my Dream-Themes for 4.1.2 Roms. As the thread get's filled by requests and posts regarding the new 4.2.2 Leak I decided to make an own thread for this stuff.. Currently the themes for 4.2.2 are not as advanced as my 4.1 version as Samsung changed many stuff! But the most important stuff is already working and I'll enhance the theme until it reaches the features and colors it has on 4.1 ;)

    Currently available Colors:
    • White
    • AOSP-Style Blue
    • Green
    • More to come ;)

    Currently available Features:
    • Fully Themed Status-Bar and Pull-Down Drawer
    • Center Clock!
    • 1% Battery Mod!
    • Transparent Touchwiz (->All TW Apps are transparent)
    • Transparent Pull Down Drawer
    • If you only want to have 1% Battery and a Center Clock(optional) there's also a completly Stock Version available
      ->Stock Theme + Those two Mods for all who want Stock Design but don't wanna miss those features!
      ->Contains a Green Circle Battery(User request) but it can be changed by flashing one of the thousands of batterys available for download here on XDA
    • Choose original AOSP Icons for the StatusBar if you like them!
    • Domination Toggles!
    • Choose a custom Background for your Pulldown Drawer(instructions below)
    • Disable persistent Smart-Stay Icon
    • Disable AM/PM
    • S4 icons for various samsung apps
    • More to come !

    Change your Pull-Down Background:
    • Download the Background_Changer.zip from #2
    • pick your desired image(resoulution: 1280x720) and rename it to notification_panel_bg.9.png
    • open the zip and navigate to: /vrtheme/system/app/SystemUi.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi and replace your image with the one found there(it's a simple black image. So if you want to revert back to stock just flash the not-modifed zip)
    • copy to your phone, flash it and enjoy ;)

    Known Bugs:
    • on stock video player there's no picture while in portrait-mode(landscape is working fine) while audio is working. Please use another video player until it's fixed(or only watch videos in landscape). I'm working on a solution! (only present on the themed versions. Stock versions are NOT affected.)
