when it gets pushed to USA do you think the unlocked version will be able to run on Sprints network. 3g at the moment not 4g or LTE.
Reading between the lines from all the people that seem to have some insight, I think they are only coming to T-Mobile in the US and they are waiting for T-Mobile to light up there LTE service and one or both of these will be launched as T-Mobile's LTE capable phone(s). I have no "insider" friend or anything. Just my guess
The ZL didn't get picked up by any US carriers. Should be available unlocked soon.

Hi Spectre, great info you've been providin in the forums. Any idea if the ZL will work on HSPA+ for t-mobile? Sorry, if it's already been answered.
Doing some process of elimination stuff I'm pretty sure we will be seeing a Z model (6606?) coming to T-Mo soon. My guess is by the end March. That's when they are supposed to be starting up a lot of there LTE service across the country. And if it is the 6606 it will work on AT&T LTE also. ***disclaimer. I have no inside knowledge at all **
No one knows yet. But the Xperia Z (C6602) could be available unlocked in the USA soon. That model will work with T-Mobile's 3G/4G network.

For what it's worth, I spoke to two different Sony stores and both said March 15th is when they would have display Xperia Z available.

Sorry, I completely screwed up the model numbers, wasn't paying enough attention.
It basically comes down to the ZL sold in the US will work on AT&T LTE+3G and T-Mobile LTE+3G. The Xperia Z for the US only has 3G on AT&T and 3G on T-Mo. The Xperia Z for Europe only has 3G on AT&T, no LTE and no T-Mo either.
