Yeah this phone likes to be calibrated almost after every charge for some reason. I always just make sure I calibrate the compass right after I pull it off charge and my gps works great.

It does not require the voodoo sound app. You see references to voodoo sound because that's where I found it easier to drop the sysfs interface files - into a directory that was already there in the kernel.
In hindsight, I wish I had implemented it differently (in its own sysfs file) [or that it would have been incorporated into the voodoo sound project], but it appears that genie is already out of the bottle. Oh well.
Glitched 38 is up I'll get a device specific log up later.

I'm just about to go back to build 32 as well. Everything after that build seemed to break something or just make the phone unreliable via calls not going through or reboots or buttons not working unless I cycle the screen or slowdowns or slow GPS locks or camera not taking photos or not being able to turn the phone on.
Build 32 was a dream. Not sure why I held out so long before going back to it. If I had a vote, I'd vote for development to start back at 32 and go from there.

I just locked in 3 sec on maps with build 28. GPS is one thing I use a lot. I never have issues.

Idk tbh. I tried GPS fix I tried clear data. I tried uninstall and reinstall and nothing.
OK ran into my first problem with glitched build 38. I was on Facebook replying to a post and I accidently clicked a profile, and now the vibrate doesn't work on my keyboard or my nav buttons. I looked at the sounds and haptic feedback and they are on. I did a reboot and nothing.

Somehow the settings got funky after I tried to post. I wiped data and I'm all set now

In my haste to get 38 flashed, I was in TWRP and wiped data and then flashed the Rom and then gapps just like normal. Booted fine. then went back to recovery to restore my data from the nandroid I had made only to find I had the ole blue CWR. No biggie I thought.....so i flashed the TWRP zip again and booted up fine. Then went back to recovery....this time TWRP showed up.....and then went to advanced restore. Again in my haste, I didn't bother unchecking boot nor system so it restored all three (along with data)
Now here's where it got funky. I just figured no big deal......I'll let it boot and then come back to recovery and start over. Booted fine and then I came back to recovery and started all over......this time when I restored just data, it wouldn't let me get passed the unicorn logo on boot. Damn. So I pulled battery and somehow got back to recovery but now no matter what I wipe and load.....it just keeps booting into recovery.
The only bad part is that I'm at work so I can't do anything with ODIN or Hemdall right now.....not worried when I get home about getting it back but has anyone experienced a problem with restoring data through TWRP that I should beware of???? I didn't see anything in the TWRP thread.

Haha! Nope......really wasn't expecting to get it to do anything when I pulled the battery! I let it just go and go and go.....it was close to about ten minutes, because I actually forgot about it and was on my work phone for awhile. Figured I was screwed anyway so I pulled the battery and hit the power up button, got the samsung logo then the skunk glitch logo blipped twice and then recovery. I thought maybe i three-fingered but I know I didn't hold it in long enough to get there. Anyway, like I said, I'm not too worried and its not life or death that I get it working before tonight.
Went against my rule of flashing when at work and it bit me so no worries. Just thought I'd throw the question out for later knowledge.
I think next time I'm going to use ED03 for stock boot and try the gps on that because I can't get GPS working with these glitched builds. Btw I know how to make a backup of my builds, but how do you restore data alone using twrp?

If you go into restore and then click the date you want it takes you to another page that has:
Boot
System
Data
All three are checked so you need to uncheck the other two........don't make my mistake above and it should work fine.
If you're restoring data from your backup doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of a wipe?

80Do to the total disregard for the flashing instructions and some individuals trying to find answers without attempting to find it themselves first. I have come up with a list of things I except to see before I will even acknowledge a question from here on out.
If you have a Question try these first.
1) You must me on the most recent Devil up build. Questions about AOKP Official builds or older Glitched builds should be referred to the most recent Devil up build first. Verify you are on the right ROM having people complain about having a mesmerize on the Verizon network or not getting data/mms because they flashed a Fascinate ROM is ridiculous. If you don't even know what device your on you shouldn't be flashing custom ROMs.
2) You should try a redownload of the ROM and Gapps, a wipe of data, dalvik, and cache, a flash and a test of the problem before restoring apps or data. That includes the back this phone up option in the gaps installer. Don't check it that until you test your issue.
3) If you problem is with a single app delete it and redownload it from Google play.
4) Read the OP and the last 10 pages of the thread completely, if your answer is there your question will be ignored. It will take you just as long to read those pages as it will for me to find it and copy it or re type it.
5) Believe me when I say I take a lot of pride in this ROM. We use this ROM everyday. We test every feature before it's released. If you say you are having an issue and we tell you it's not the ROM…. It's you if you try and argue that your posts will be ignored.

Milestone6 will be aokp's last ics build. We start on jelly bean after the source drops. Milestone6 will come with 2 options the official non linaro build for those with issues, and I will put out a linaro build for those who want it. I will include the latest devil kernel, and from here until jelly bean look too the devil for kernel updates. He had assured me he will be making devil kernels for jb. No etas, we are waiting for the source drop.
