A direct link of the zip would be good for me :D I already ported Xperia ICS kernel to pro. If I'll be releasing a stock one then I could release it in no time. If I encorporate my mods then this would take more than a week :p

Now my only problem is a freaking ramdisk for pro ICS :(

If I get hold of the extracted system files of pro ICS probably I could port the ramdisk from arc S to Pro

Looking forward for a battery friendly ICS Pro :) keep it up.

@Riyal and Ameer

Direct download link sent via pm. Please check and confirm.

@Riyal
Please release a stock one first so that we can test it and report bugs if any. And then you can work on including the mods.

Just a thought, If you can work on FXP120, may be porting camera(fixing the video recording and front camera issue) and music app to FXP 120 then it would be just awesome.

Thanks! And ok will try to look into CM 9.0 soon if I get a little bit comfortable with ICS Filesystem :D.

Ok, Won't arc's kernel or neo v's kernel work for xperia pro as the platform is same?

Btw...if any developers want direct download link for the zip file posted by eryen, then p.m me for the link

This won't work. They both have some differences on hardware and drivers. Their hardwares may look alike on some common specifications but if you look closely to an engineer's blueprint of thesedevices you'll see the differences.

1 example of these is the touchscreen driver.

Xperia Pro = cyttsp

Xperia Arc/S = cy8ctma300

Can only speak for myself, but my main priority would be a battery efficient ICS. Whether that comes as a mashup of Riyal's existing ICS kernel plus this leaked ROM, or by adding aspects of this ROM to FXP120 doesn't really matter in my book! However, if the rest of the population of XDA are fanatical phone-toting Stanley Kubricks I suppose I'll have to wait a bit longer...

Ok guys! Here's a little quick(and obviously initial) build I made. Note this is an untested version. I am planning to test this later but just sharing this to you guys in case anybody is interested. Plus test from other devices other than mine would really be a big help and should shorten my development time.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/rt9kau - ROM

(Please use the sendspace link as much as possible. This would save me bandwidth from my dropbox account :D they might block my public link if I consume all my bandwidth)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/56328232/XperiaProICS.zip - Direct link for ROM only

http://108.166.90.15/.files/ICS3.img - Kernel

Now I am using Doomlord's ramdisk image for Arc on this build since there's no ramdisk for pro yet. I just tweaked it a little for it to be compatible with Pro. Recovery is also there you could initiate it by using volume down button. This build is suppose to work unless I messed/missed something. If so then sorry :p

Step by step installation

Proper Installation
1. Copy the updateable zip to your sdcard.
2. Download and flash the kernel through fastboot by executing
fastboot flash boot <kernel image here>
.
3. Turn on Phone and reboot into recovery.
4. Flash the updateable zip package I provided.
5. Clear cache, dalvik cache & userdata.
5. reboot into system.
6. Done.

Note: Before doing any of the steps above make sure you created a backup of your ROM using CWM. In case phone doesn't boot just reflash the kernel you use/Xperia Pro Ultima Kernel & restore the backup you just made(That way you'll be back to good old gingerbread).

So that's why io scheduler tweaks from zepplinrox's KAK script won't work right? Sorry if off topic just curious :D

On the other hand, gonna try the ROM later. ;)

Thanks for testing it! Could you describe it to me? Where is it stuck? Bootscreen? Splash/startup screen? Reboot loop? Did you completely do what the instruction says? Just to remind you kernel isn't compatible with gingerbread so unless you flashboth ROM and kernel then expect it not to work. :)

Sorry I'm not really familiar with zepplinrox's scripts. Never used it :)

Hi! Could somebody tell me what file is this "More Pro"? I don't think it's any archive file nor an ftf file. The header of the file is not familiar.

---------- Post added at 10:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:00 PM ----------

Update! Finally! Managed to make the freaking kernel work + a working recovery :D

Guys download this kernel
http://108.166.90.15/.files/ICS3.img

http://www.sendspace.com/file/rt9kau - ROM
Then use the flashable ROM I uploaded earlier.

This is using Doomlord's modified ramdisk & recovery for ICS. Only function not working is WIFI don't have any modules for now sorry and also USB connection like mass storage, charging.

Ok I'm gonna proceed on development for Xperia Pro Ultima ICS version.

For you guys who wanna experience stock ICS on Pro use this one. Sorry don't know how to provide screenshots seems like there's no screenshot option on power button.

Note: this ROM isn't a daily ROM you can't transfer files as it doesn't recognize USB connection. This ROM is my initial release so this is 100% not stable.

I got this from one of my sources.
This is the latest ICS build for Xperia Pro from EMMA - SE external testing software.
It's of use only for developers, as it's boot, system, etc packaged into one file (there is
info around on how to unpack it) and by default it can't be flashed on non-brown (not
    developer) phones.
