My battery at heavy use lasts about 14 hours , back in time my use to drain quickly too , always think that was from the rom but is the battery , maybe is your problem too , buy a new one , they are cheap ;)

Just tested to install SuperSU and confirmed a problem.

  • Install from market --> cant install binary
  • Flashable zip --> rom wont boot (stays in black screen)
  • Integration into rom flashable zip itself --> rom wont boot (stays in black screen)

Forwarded this problems to Chainfire and waiting for his reply.

Internal memory

Can anyone just show me how to increase or use less internal memory? I have everything moved to the SD card, and just facebook, twitter, and colornotes linked to an ext partition using link2sd but that doesn't to help me with internal memory problems...I know this is slightly off topic... but your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I aways thought that Mardon is a genius and this Rom is a proof!
Except that camera isnt working, this Rom (experimental?!) is stable and with patched services its flying!
I got only one FC: when I press Storage in Settings menu.
10.000 thanks to Mardon for making Ace runing CM 10.2!!! :thumbup:

First of all thank you Mardon for your great work!
I wanted to ask, if somebody notice a difference between cm10.1 and cm10.2 in terms of performance, battery, etc.
I've used both modded versions of Mardon and actually I don't feel a big difference. Is it just me?

Sorry for the little off-topic.. just wanted to know :)

Most work is done by Team Androidarmv6, i only did the modding and performance enhancements ;)

Thats the result when u dont use Link2SD the right way dont choose move to SD!
Move to SD will use App2SD, use Link 2 SD that way the app will be moved to 2nd SD partition.

Hi dear Mardon
I have one problem.every time I was installed a new ROM after that I was installed Titanium Backup and was removed some system apps like Android Keyboard & calculated & ... to restore my favorite apps and increase system storage.but for first time when I want uninstall that system apps like keyboard & ... I can't.i post one screenshot to u see this problem.i yet didnt install Hotfix.just installed Link2sd successfully and 2nd partition.

You can flash MA6 kernel with cwm yourself if you want.

Will double check it on next release ;)

Upcomming new modded 0919 variants

Working on and testing modded 0919 release.
Integrated some more tweaks, MA6 kernel and some ril tweaks
Seems like we now have proper Battery usage indication ;)
(Will test this tweaks also on next cm10.1 nightly)

    CyanogenMod 10.2 modded for Galaxy Ace


    CyanogenMod 10.2 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Installation:

    • Boot into CWM Recovery
    • Wipe data/factory reset
    • Format /System
    • Install zip from SD card / choose ROM zip from SD card
    • optional step flash transparency patch with transparency lvl you wanna have
    • Install zip from SD card / choose HOTFIX zip from SD card (this step is only needed if there is a hotfix)
    • After installation reboot system now
    • 1st Boot take about 3 - 5 minutes (caches are generated in this time)
    Dont flash any gapps packages!
    Install needed google apps from PlayStore!

    OTA-Infos
    Stable releases will update to new Stable releases only
    Nightly releases will update to new Nightly releases only
    The OTA app downloads the zip file to /sdcard/OTA-Updater/download/romid_device_version.zip

    I wont release the new build with old wifi driver because its no driver problem.

    Here is what Conn from team androidarmv6 said after i forwarded the logcat:
    It's not a problem with the ath6kl driver. I reverted to the ar6000 driver last night and it has the same problem. So it's a bug in wpa_supplicant or the framework that needs fixing.

    So ill switch again to the new driver.
    Also this change is added now "Let tiny.mk inherit from commonized telephony.mk (fixes APNs)" So mobiledataproblem should now be solved.

    Will start a new build later today. Maybe Conn will find a solution for fixing wifi untill th, we'll see.
