all was good till i switched from 0.7.8 to 8 and then b and c
having following issues
1.camera during video works now (since i switched from 8 to c), but as soon as i quit it phone restarts itself immediately
2.don't know why instead of glitch recovery i have cwm 5.5.0.4 although i have as a kernel icy glitch installed
3.even if i don't do anything phone restarts every 15-20 minutes
4. never had any issues with wifi but now it is a big thing

so will try to go back to 0.7.8

Till now i have been savoring ICS flavours from AOSP, MIUI flavoured ICS is wonderful.
Facebook sync and SIM toolkit (STK) would make this perfect.

I also noticed what you have mentioned in #2, but the rest is ok with me. After flashing 8c, fixed a lot of stuff and so far no random reboots.

I had this problem when CPU idle was check in NStools. It seriously would mess up my phone. Be sure that it isn't.

As a follow up to my earlier post. I flashed this back on to give it another go. Got rid of my 300mhz OC. Running 1Ghz with a slight under volt as well as juice defender. My headphones also broken this morning, so no music was being played all day. Battery life is back to 'normal'. Very usable as a daily driver

EDIT: Battery life is somewhat an issue for me, it isn't great, but it isn't terrible with said changes. Are you guys seeing roughly the same? About 12 hours, with mild usage (15 texts, 10 minutes of surfing, 1 phone call, misc customization) screen on for a total of 1h 10min

nothing helped! so performed clean install of 0.8 b and then c ! so far so good

p.s. still cant understand why i have cwm 5.5.0.4 instead of glitch recovery

There was a newer version of the Glitch kernel V6 posted in the thread - http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=23782531&postcount=220
It still shows as V5 but includes the blue recovery and most importantly, the nandroid backup is fixed. Apparently, the old version 5 would work if you mounted /data first but I never tried it.

Had a weird problem today. I use the in car bluetooth system for phone calls while driving, today, after hanging up the phone, the music player started automatically ( I have had that issue with the initial ICS rom releases in the past), but the strange thing today is that after the music player started, it would not turn off at all. If I touched the pause key on the player, it would just skip to a different song. The only way I could stop the player was to restart the phone.

This did not happen on the earlier version of this ROM.

Anyone else had this issue?

Running 0.8c and glitch kernel. Last night charged the phone using data usb cable to 100%. Went to sleep. Woke up and phone was off. Plugged into wall outlet charger and it started to charge. Started the phone to confirm battery level was 1% and charging.

I've been having the same issue ever since I upgraded to ICS. All across ICS roms. I've searched for days for a fix of some sort but no one else seems to have our issue. So far on this ROM, it's happened only once. Try limiting the charge level to 95%.

I just flashed this ROM today, I haven't used this interface in a while but at first glance it seems really awesome. However I have encountered an inconvenient issue. I use Google Voice for Texting and Calling, everything with the app seems to work fine except using this ROM when I make an outgoing call, my call log/history shows me calling some random number. I assume this is the google server or whatever that the calls go through, but on any other rom it would still always show up as the correct contact on my In Call info, and history. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this? I hope ive explained it well enough to where you can understand the issue

    To install properly and avoid any problem follow these steps:

    Coming from Gingerbread
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
    3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Data Wipe"
    4. Select "Install Now"
    5. Your device will reboot to recovery at the start of the installation (if you get a recovery bootloop or it doesn't reboot to recovery, do it manually)
    6. Open the WeUI zip file again from recovery
    7. The installation will continue where it left off and finish by itself
    8. Reboot


    Coming from another ICS ROM
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
    3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Data Wipe"
    4. Select "Install Now"
    5. Reboot


    Updating from older WeUI
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
    3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Cache Wipe" (if coming from certain old WeUI versions you will need Data Wipe)

    720p recording isnt working for me! Why?!
    It should be working without any changes, but if you see this happen, flash http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1575485 and report that it didn't work at first.

    I found a bug or problem in your ROM, what should I do?
    Try to read the thread for possible solutions, and if you can't find anything, then post the problem without complaining and try to describe as much as you can the problem and when it happened, etc. Please use the "Report MIUI" option if you experience a force close which will open the "WeUI Feedback app" and it will automatically add the logcat information of that force close, but please describe your problem and don't just send the log. (Most logs will be ignored if you don't describe your problem)

    Some theme elements are not getting changed!!
    Right now only certain things work on themes like lockscreen, icons, etc. But other stuff doesn't get themed or doesn't look right, this is a thing that MIUI will fix in an upcoming release

    Why is there a Torch app? Galaxy S devices don't have a LED flash!
    I know there's no LED flash, but the Torch is not an app and can't be deleted that easily, it's on the System UI and can't figure out how to do it correctly

    Alright then, I just started working again on this ROM today after quite some time (like 3 months) from where I left off on an unreleased v1.5 version which included some new stuff.

    I actually tried working on it a month ago but it didn't boot at all so I just abandoned it.

    Just got it booting and fixing some stuff and getting ready for new release, and hopefully getting back to constantly updating it :)

    No ETA, though.

    Been working on this update, sorry for being late but I was having some serious problems in the ROM because 2.4.6 changed some stuff on the ROM and also updating it to 4.0.4, etc.
