no wonder... Microsoft ban codes which used on different devices.... get own code direct from Microsoft, dont share it and you have it forever

no is not... i flashed hundred times different ROM's because of testing in last two years and always used same live id code...

I'm in Malaysia, and I tried doing as your sig mentioned, but I think the number of cases of people asking this is high, so now I'm requested to present proof of purchase as well as photos of the device itself...

I got a little bit sneaky with things, but lets see how they hold up

They have started blacklisting codes. It's best that you request for your own from Microsoft.
