I tried just installing the apk over the previous version, and it ends up force closing. Unfortunately it doesn't look like us unrooted users will be able to use it for a while.

No problem, I used to get so mad because I could never download from there
Works on note 3 using cyanogen 11. Settings are hard to navigate though. Like the material design

hey bro i dont get nothing from mega, also i choosed mega because uploading on zippy failed over 3 times. same with DEV-host. (also tried with opera browser, but no luck
) (AFAIK mega has no pay per dl program....)no. because you need also a new lib file.....
i can up it later but i wont work i guess...
i can understand mega isnt the 1st choice (mine either) but it was the only working host.. (read above) it really sucked that uploading failed on zippy & dev-host. so i choosed mega.

Goggle officially released the new MATERIAL keyboard. INSTALL it via playstore OR if not avaiable download it via APK Mirror & install normally:victory:

Uninstall google keyboard(Play Store one not AOSP), install this apk and change theme
Go to Android L Google Keyboard settings
Open “Advanced settings”
Select Color scheme “Material”
Tested on Moto G 4.4.2 no root
EDIT: Will not work on nexus stock no root,because google keyboard is a system app and you cant uninstall it23

1. extract all files.
2. move the ''LatinImeGoogle.apk'' to /system/app; long press on APK, choose change permissions, now make the ticks like in attached picture.
3. move the ''libjni_latinimegoogle.so'' to /system/lib; like above, long press, & change permissions.
4. reboot system, then go to settings & activate keyboard
