It comes with a kernel. Do not flash any kernels over it if you want the best results. For this rom ALL you need to flash is the rom itself.

And that could be the wifi itself.

But try flashing just the rom and don't flash any kernels over it.

There is a battery drain bug in the original kernel. Last time when I used this rom, most of us flashed ezterry's Froyo kernel or Farmatito's Froyo kernel. It definitely helped in reducing the battery drain bug.

Hope this'll help

Odd, the original kernel is the best one I've used with this ROM

I think the battery drain bug is only after you unplug it after its plugged into the computer.
*shrug*
I can live with rebooting it.

The dropbox-link of the flashable stock theme in the OP doesn't work anymore.
Can anyone upload it again, please?

Amazingly, I'm still using this rom. I just re-flashed mine since I wanted to swap out the SD card for a smaller one and there were complications. My G1 is now a surveillance camera monitor (via tinycam).

    FAQ:
    Q: How can i enable App2EXT?
    A: Settings/Extras/Appliacation > Allow moving > Install Location > sd-ext

Q: I've setted over 614 MHz and my G1 stuck at bootscreen/currently menu!!
    A: Reflash ROM.

Q: I have boxes instead of text! / Or i don't like Your fonts!
A: If You don't like it, you must to manually replace the fonts. Posted above.
A2: Type addons in Terminal Emulator.

First of all I'd like to stress one thing:

This ROM uses so called Magpie aka native apps2sdext framework made by Firerat & me. Because of that please DO NOT use Firerat's All-In-One patch (if you really need please DO NOT use any option that relates to moving apps between internal and sd-ext - that includes ApkManager.sh and dalvik-cache) You are more than likely to have problems. You have been warned.

To fully use Magpie features it's best to select sd-ext in Extras(cmsettings)/Apps/Install Location.

At the moment color of clock, date and ticker are black after wipe installation to fix it go to Settings/Extras/UI/Tweaks Extras & Reset UI Tweaks to default You don't neeed to reboot.
    Sorry!

    THEMES:
Finally! I've ported all my themes to Metamorphs. This will keep them ready to go anytime there is an update and also help me keep my sanity. Porting a dozen themes for each revision isn't a lot of fun!

    How to use Metamorph
Always Nandroid before flashing any theme.
    1. Download and install the Metamorph app from the Android market.
    2. Open Metamorph, allow checks and Superuser. Press menu, open settings and increase Metamorph Delay to 3500 or so.
    3. If this is a new theme, choose Unzip/Extract new theme and navigate to downloaded theme zip file on your SD card.
    4. Click on the zip file and Metamorph will extract the theme files automagically.
    5. Information about the theme may be displayed. Select "Close" when done.
    5. A list of all the sub-themes will be displayed. Click ‘Apply All!’
    6. Select "Continue" to apply framework-res themed files.
    7. Reboot if it doesn't happen automatically.

    Tips:
    - Once you have completed all the checks in the Metamorph, you can Disable startup checks in Metamorph settings. You can also Disable the warning regarding framework-res too.
    - After you've Metamorphed once, you can delete the theme zip file from your SD card if you'd like. The extracted theme is saved in AndroidThemes on your SD card.

    Honeybread Froyo BETA

By popular request and with the consent of haxzamatic, here is a version of Honeybread Metamorph for MDPI Froyo!!

I'm calling this a BETA. I had to do a lot of resizing, renaming, recreating and filling in to make this theme work on our devices. (I also want to credit Kagedin of Dark Edge MDPI MM fame for some of the pngs I used as well.) I'd appreciate if some of you would put it through the paces and let me know of any problems. Below are the Honeybread wallpapers too.

I found a way to run a script on every boot for this rom. Apparently laslzo has done this for us. Just place your script named userinit.sh in /data/local. The script will be loaded on boot. For instance i loaded the memory script from : http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=13977709&postcount=1642

    Code:
    #!/system/bin/sh
    # Values are given in 4k units!
    # Foreground App, Visible App, Secondary Server, Hidden App, Content Provider, Empty App
    echo "2048,3072,5120,7680,10192,25600" > /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree

Code to check if the above script is working
    Code:
    cat /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree

I have confirmed that this works. Thanks to tom0769 for providing the original script and the code to check if it's working.
