Tested this for Flinny's latest ROM.
Very well done @NeverGone\RU !! [I still had the freaking old CWM-Recovery and never dared to switch]
Is it possible to include "Fix permissions" and the "back-button"?

Cheers
Blade

Kind of Off-topic, just a lil story to laugh about:
...
[*]offmode charging doesn't work, phone boots into recovery instead (issue #24)
This "issue" saved a lot of time for me. After I tried flashing the ROM with the old recovery with an error, I directly upgraded the recovery via ZIP-file. Then i got a working recovery but couldn't enter it because of the ZIP-file on my sdcard (and no possibilities to rename/delete the ZIP) the bootloader cannot enter recovery and there was no ROM to restart into recovery. xD xD xD
So i turned all off, plugged it in and there we go - recovery.

I'm so sorry for bringing up this old thread.
offmode charging doesn't work, phone boots into recovery instead (issue #24)
Is it possible, to make this "issue" a "feature"? I would like to "implement" this issue into the latest 4EXT...
In my eyes its a good thing to safe your hardware keys. [I know about controlling it via adb, but a pc is not always there]

It shouldn't work... but it does.

That's CWM 6.0.4.5, the latest one.
Features adb sideload functionality, better compatibility with CM10.2/CM11.0 ROMs (no need to use set_metadata workaround)...
Dunno what else. Softkey support has been stripped, so Back button doesn't work.

    What I've tested:
    • zip install from sdcard works
    • zip install from sideload works for small files, big ones cause recovery to crash (issue #22)
    • usb storage mount works
    • data/cache wipe works
    • trackpad (up/down/enter) works
    • offmode charging doesn't work, phone boots into recovery instead (issue #24)
    Issue tracker

    Download (IMG file for Fastboot)
To install: "fastboot flash recovery cwmr_6045_vision.img"

    Download (ZIP file for Bootloader)
    To install:
    - Rename the file to "PC10IMG.zip"
    - Put it to your /sdcard
    - Reboot the phone into bootloader (Volume Down + Power). It will ask you to update the recovery.
(don't forget to remove the file afterwards)

Haha, great job, just built this and now see you have it up already... Oh well, its good to see some more options for recoveries for the vision. Still feel 4ext rains king but is missing adb sideload. I have a twrp recovery ready that I'll upload when finals are done so I can test it fully but great job getting a recent recovery working!

Indeed -- SHIP HBoots don't allow fastboot commands :)
You can either reflash your HBoot to an Engineering version (which won't hurt anyway) or use a ZIP version:
    - Download this file
    - Rename it to "PC10IMG.zip"
    - Put it to your /sdcard
    - Reboot the phone into bootloader (Volume Down + Power). It will ask you to update the recovery.
(don't forget to remove the file afterwards)
