I believe that is a problem in "ALL" CM9 ICS beta roms. It is due to not having proper codes and drivers for the phone which "I believe" is called hardware acceleration. So far no one has come up with a solution for this problem yet unless we get the official release. This is also the very same reason that no one has responded until yet for your question because it the #1 known issue with all ICS roms that are based of CM9.

Yea, dats wat I thought too but I checked my sd card and I have a little over a gig left on my sd card, but it still says there is an error backing up /data

We have HW acceleration working with the UI and such, just not GPU accelerated video playback. :/

No sir ... I have never heard of this app. Im going to go and try it now.


UPDATE #1: I just downloaded and installed GetRil. It said that my Ril and baseband does NOT match, so it corrected it. To early to tell if it helped me, but it did do something ! :O)
UPDATE #2: I have been testing my phone with the corrected Ril now for 14 hours and have not droped my data connection AT ALL. This might have fixed it !!!

Wow thanks for the GETRIL suggestion! There truly is an app for everything. My Wifi keeps bouncing on and off during browsing which is so quick it doesn't really bother me but makes Wifi calling pretty much useless. Hopefully this helps.

I tried searching, but I had an odd issue today.

Using the keypad during a call (like when I had to call the bank and use touch tones to navigate the menu) doesnt work.

But it works on wifi calling. :confused: Not a dealbreaker, but just odd. Any fixes?
[edit]I should say, the buttons appear to work, they make noises, but dont actually 'work'.

Did you have on your speaker phone when you called your bank? If you did, your button won't work properly. That what I noticed but when I take it off speaker phone it work fine.

as you have seen no one but me and Don have released anything regarding progress at all on the g2x and that both of our releases have stoped though you may think we have stoped in fact it is the total opposite there is some kind of hicup from source Arcee is looking in to it. but we are looking in to it good news for you guys is i managed to pull one last thing from source before it stoped giving me its goodies i was hopeing to bring you more but hay what ya expect from unoffical so for now give me one more day and ill give you something to play with. just waiting on one more thing befor i release it to the testers

Anyone else having wonky mic issues during calls? Had a friend record a call after he was complaining that I kept cutting out, then called my work phone and had someone here confirm it as well

A very weak mic it has been since 174 or something its only major complaint of cm7/9... I use calls heytell, voxer all that and everyone says I sound like Milton from office space, lmao! I wonder why the issue was never addressed... I mean isn't kinda simple for these guys to fix? They can get camera and hardware acceleration and stuff working but can't fix the mic volume lol.... not talking **** but it sounds like a small number switch or something, like a brain surgeon saying he can't stitch a cut eyebrow. I'm just ranting I guess boring Friday morning, happy happy Friday!

I just did a fresh install of this, and it is not seeing ANY of my music on the SD card.

**EDIT**

Fixed it, deleted stock music player, and installed Google music.
