Instruction to Install BOOTANIMATION

1. DO NOT FLASH - CWM/TWRP probably won't let you anyway
2. Push to /system/media*
3. Rename to bootanimation.zip
4. Set permissions to -rw-r--r--**

This MOD is based upon the existing mod in Nexus 5 Section.
Credit for original design goes out to the original authors, without whom, I wouldn't have this thread.

Initially i have come up with a version for 16 GB as i get time i will make for other version too.

Instruction to Install BOOTANIMATION

2. Push to /system/media*
3. Rename to bootanimation.zip
4. Set permissions to -rw-r--r--**

Instruction to Install BOOTLOGO

1. BOOT to CWM
2. FLASH THE BOOTLOGO.ZIP
3. REBOOT

Of course it works on any Moto G.... but this one's text says XT1033 and 16GB

Not working!

I donno why. But the bootanimation is not working for me.
I placed it in the system/media.
And rebooted. But instead of showing the bios boot sequence, just an android logo is appearing!
So thats why confused!

( I didnt flash the bootlogo! )

The GIF says "lisiting" instead of "listing", maybe that's been corrected. More sensors are listed in a recent (yesterday!) thread, but I don't know if those would actually be initialized at startup. BTW, what does IR stand for? (can't be infrared!)

You must set permissions
If you use es file explorer: select zip > properties > permissions > change

You need to upgrade the A Android OS in the animation since we also upgraded to 4.4.4
