Ha! I get it! I remember him... I do hope the Galaxy S fourms haven't imploded from swag overload. Oh well. Anyways, good work OP! I always like linaro. Except that Linaro optimized Firefox build. That one is weirdly buggy for me.

I just flashed it.. I don't see the T-Mobile WiFi app installed... so not sure what they mean about it having it...

...coming from the same guy who complained about no tweaks in other aosp thread...
aosp is plain vanilla android. if you want tweaks, look elsewhere. in any case, i found that rom to be quite speedy as it is

I think it was dswaggz right? xD

hatememarkz and dswaggs are one in the same. even after being banned, some people never learn...

wifi calling isn't available on any jelly bean rom. this has been mentioned time and time again. it's getting old...

It says this in the OP:

Wifi Calling (May not work)

You might want to remove that line. Nice work.

Has anyone tried the WiFi calling? I will install and try the apk from cm9.

Edit: No go. I tried moving the cm9 apk to system/apps, changing permissions to rwrr, rebooting and it says "Unfortunately, Wi-Fi Calling has stopped."
Same thing if installing by clicking on the apk in ES File Explorer.
Is there anything else to try?

Very impressive. BTW what temperature is your phone operating at 2 Ghz?

On 1.8 its about 23.0 Celsius, i backed off of 2.0 seemed to freeze and reboot more often when just sitting around. Also, when i use the on demand governer it reboots a lot more often

This is a linaro optimised port of CyanogenMod 10 for the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit (SGH-T679)

As of 3/3/13 I am no longer working on this and don't plan to in the future.

    Why linaro?
the linaro compiler super optimises everything it compiles signifigantly boosting performance, on stock kernel, no OC quadrant is benching about 1700-2000, at 1.8GHz im getting about 2600.

    Stuff to Know

    • Externel SD is mounted as /external_SD
    • Facebook Sync is not included in AOSP, there are alternatives in the market.

    Kernels

    • [SGK] (Speedy Gonzales)

    • DemonsBlood Kernel

    • Download the CM10 ROM

    • Download Google APPs (Contact Sync,Setup,Play Store, ect.)

    Mirror 1 GAPPS 20121011

    [Flashing]

    1. Hold home and power buttons until the phone reboots and the Samsung logo appears.
    2. The stock recovery should then apear.
    3. make shure cwm recovery is on the internel SD card and from stock recovery flash the zip file (should be easy to figure out)
    4. reboot recovery again
    5. select backup and restore and do a backup.
    6. do a romwipe and then flash cm10
    7. *flash gapps
    8. *reboot
    9. CM10 is installed now

I would recomend a ROMWIPE if installing over normal CM10 but it is not neccicary

NOTE: when the phone boots up, make sure and wait for cell service to connect before unlocking, this seems to cause a freeze

    ENJOY!!!!
