As i know, you should to write it line in manifest.xml
yes, i keep reading about manifest, is that just one file for the whole phone or a manifest file for every app.
please, if somebody knows, would really appreciate it if you could point me to the correct direction

already found a way. to those looking to set permissions for android.permission.CALL_PHONE , every app has a manifest.xml. you need an editor, download apk editor pro, add android.permission.CALL_PHONE in the manifest, direct call now works. the author of the app, could have just put that in, having people have a hard time, especially for us newbies

I've rooted my nook and am running launcher 8 now, I am on 1.5.2 right now but I've tried newer versions too which still work with the old android system running on the nook. The latest 2.6 and 3.0 versions do not work.
I've ran into a problem though: I don't seem to be able to choose launcher 8 as the default launcher when I press the home button.
Is there anything I can do to solve this?
Some pictures attached just to make clear what my problem actually is.

Looking at the reviews in the playstore it looks like you aren't the only one with issues in lollipop so it sounds like you should contact the dev directly.
Hey I am using Sept 6th release and I had a question about maximizes space of the widget. I remember in previous versions, if you selected "Stretched" in tile settings, it would take up the full space of say a 4x4 tile, but now by selecting it, it doesn't change anything. Anyone got any input? I want the widget to take up the full space of the tile instead of like 3/4 of it.
I have an issue with the alphabet app grid, the bottom of all the letters are cut off, about the bottom 15 percent. Anyone know how to fix this without a re-install as I want to keep my tiles the way they are.

I noticed this as well. Changing the property seems to have no effect.
