If you flash your korean model warhead with European software would it still target apple.

I'd like to know the above question as well. Searched and wasn't able to find a clear cut answer.

Has anyone tried a Korean variant flashed with an I717 rom?

I have, it will brick the device, different variations of fw cause different effects, some just a boot loop, others leave you in qdload mode, I have a whole thread describing it, E:V:A mentions the possible effects of swapping the boot loaders between devices.
Basically don't, not unless you have the tools/knowledge to recover from it. I converted my device to a development device and can flash most few out there and recover at any time, (unbrickable) but standard I717 and similar don't have that ability and require JTAG to actually repair.
