What? The open-gl builds? I use the 19.4 wraithdu busybox in combination with V6 Supercharger (link in my sig) and have noticed it is slightly more stable. But I've never found a CM9 build for Nook the was 100% stable and would never crash. We are the alpha/beta testers for ICS on this device, by doing this, we have to accept a little instability as a requirement. If you want something really stable, you should drop back to CM7.
I just set up a system today to automate Goo Manager to download the nightly/incremental files directly to your boot partition so that the script can install it for you. Look in my signature for a link to my tips thread. It is there as item # B4.Has anybody tried using GooManager to Flash ROMs on an SD install? I know how to set up TWRP on the SDcard as an Alt Recovery but I'm not sure if it'll properly write the ROM update to the card or will it try to push it to the EMMC. I'm asking as I'd prefer to avoid any headaches with Repairing the EMMC and such.
It'd be much more convenient then using the SD-installer. For now I'll just stick to using the SD-installer until I know for sure.
I suspected as much. Good thing I went with my gut. Also thanks for the Tips Thread. It helped solve some of the annoying quirks I've had since I've switched to CM9 from CM7.I just set up a system today to automate Goo Manager to download the nightly/incremental files directly to your boot partition so that the script can install it for you. PS, you do not want the normal TWRP as an alternate on your SD. Everything it does will be done to emmc (including as you suspected installing ROMs there.) I also have an alternate recovery for the SD, but it has been modified to work on the SD. See item # B5 in my tips thread.

Big round of applause for Sam and all the work he's done in helping to make our Nook's be all they can be.
Want to build ICS from raw source code yourself?
It may be a good learning activity, and will certainly make you more self-sufficient. Hundreds have built ICS for Nookcolor successfully, and understanding the process will make you an Android ninja-- PLUS you can try features and bug fixes as-yet-unaccepted-into-the-mainstream build.

I'm sorry, but the poster who comes into a ROM build post for the Nook Color in the Nook Color development section of XDA and says they have dumped it for a Fire because the Fire is faster (duh it has a dual core processor and was released a year later than the Color), is the troll.
Mods you can remove this whole string of off-topic posts started by the troll.
