Probably that's the reason why I cant get full root on v2.. but v2.3 works perfectly.
the big tip for frequent flashers : Flash a Gb based rom for factory reset and for installing a new rom. This is necessary for proper root and avoiding bricks
Review about the rom : I had always found that Alba's rom give the best speed performance - mainly in scolling inside all apps. The ones that is important for me are browser, taptalk, rss readers and twitter based apps.
This is the main reason why i always end up coming back to alba.
The previous few versions of alba did had some scrolling lag like other roms.
However v2 has returned the original glory of alba

Google bookmark sync
Hey thanks for the rom.
One question, bookmark sync is not working. My google bookmarks do not appear when I go to add the S-Bookmark widget.
I have tried doing a full wipe and re adding my google account but it didn't fix it, they still dont appear.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is this the latest version of alba's release. Its using R2 version of franco's kernel which still has mmc erase enable.

A really great ICS rom !
i flashed stock LPF LBI (no wipe) with Odin PC
started in stock recovery mode
then root with tactical CWM method
without restart, i flashed Franco Kernel
then reboot the recovery to reload the CWM
and then i flashed Alba full repack v2
all works fine :
full root and SU can update binaries.
wifi works fine
ma language is back (english is not a great problem for me, but i prefer french)

I had flashed full repack v.2 with Cwm without wipe under the first repack without problems, then I made wipe cache and dalvick (in case of ...). it's ok. thanks. happy to use Franco kernel again.

*** Just one Small Harmless Bug : You may temporary read " Select input method " txt in the notif. tray while scanning sdcards after every reboot but it doesnt affect anything... A harmless bug...
*** "Settings" shortcut will disappear from notifications but you can put " settings " shortcut with notification launcher easily... Even you can put shortcuts for your favorite settings like data counter or battery etc.
*** Reported that usb mass storage may give fc so you can download and install " usb mass storage watcher " from market to get that function back if u r using it instead of mtp...
