There's an overflowing pessimism in the last few pages. It's true that it's been an ongoing agony waiting for signs of progress. WM2003 is a good enough OS , but the thing that kills me is the fact that the XDA2i has so much unused potential.It has more power than the other XDA phones that got ROM upgrades.

Hopefully someone is still working on it. Cotulla is still active in the smartphone community and the Alpine upgrade is probably on a lower place in his priority list because of WM7 and Android , but he is slowly progressing on it.Still, I don't understand why he hasn't released the version he used in the YouTube video.

I gave my Alpine to a friends kid
Alpine was killed in a period of 2.months
Now I'm using X8 and I'm completely happy with it.

i have c7 but i like my O2 IIi .i hope cotulla 'll complete rom for us soon

Is there was anyone here,....??? Is cotulla have gave up,...??? XDA O2i, Qtek 2020i, HTC Alpine,...the upgrade rom was now just a dream,...??? Now is 2012,...!!! And I loved use WM cause it's cant infected by a virus, even my XDA can cure or deleted the virus, computer viruses or cellphone viruses, such as nokia virus. My O2i have cure many storage card that was infected by a virus, I just put the infected one's to my O2i, I was opened it with resco explorer, than I can saw and recognized the virus file, and I only did deleted it!!!! the storage card was free from virus, it was clean,...and one problem that I have now,....my O2i cannot read 4gb storage card,...it just can read 2gb,...and than,...I cannot cure that 4gb storage card,....!!!!
