On stok rooted firmware 3.05.651 and 4.06.651 ussd requests come in Chinese ! used to be all good!
My Phone sim unlocked , rooted , S-Off , super sid . And I use the phone in GSM in Eastern Europe.

S-OFF, Locked Bootloader, Unrooted, Stock 4.4.2 KitKat, SIM Unlocked (Free method), Indonesian GSM Operator.

Hello apparently it didn't worked. Still get chinese message when tried to dial *888#. I read on GS3 Forum, we should flash another modem / radio (is it a same thing??). As far as I remember, it worked just fine when it was still JB. Can I just flash 4.3 modem / radio (is it available here??) it from fastboot / stock recovery ???

yeah... is there any update? i installed and now my mobile network is off. i had to reinstall. and ofc the ussd is still chinese.
im using eclipse sense 6 Sprint Htc ONE

You're asking the wrong question.

Root means you can modify /system while in Android.

To flash a zip (ie. modify /system while in recovery), you need a custom recovery and for this, you need to be S-OFF or HTC Dev unlocked.
