CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 *
 * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
 * cause of male impotence.
 */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

It might be helpful to manually format /system as well as I encountered a bootloop several times and solved it with the format in recovery.

EDIT: I noticed that e.g. Youtube videos are displayed about 10 times faster than normal what makes it impossible to listen to music or just watch a video. Is this a known issue or shall I make a logcat of that?

Sounds like your imei got lost during flash process. Check it as mentioned and if so you hopefully backed it up before flashing the rom.

Written with Tapatalk PRO on my Moto G

I flashed back to Sammy base and all work so the imei info should be still there? I also tried to flash different radio but still no joy

I wipe all system, data, cache and ad card in the recovery before I flash the Rom, is there any difference do this via adb?

in that case
do you have efs backup try restoring if not
might wanna start start troubleshoot from the bottom eg. you are using n5120 rom ( yes sounds dumb but!! )
check md5 of tall the files, re download the rom, dont install gapps at 1st bootup just to make sure.
go to a working rom before reflashing. which recovery are you using.

some of these thing might not have anything to do with the prob but you wanna clear doubts as you proceed.

why dont you pull a logcat and send it to the dev.

id say that start from scratch, wish i could be of more help
best of luck

Has anyone actually made and received calls with this rom? I really want to try this but i do need to use my phone daily, so would like to know at least the phone/data/wifi works before flashing.

Thanks

    Just an update, we have both cameras working, tethering, and 1 way audio on voice calls. The audio calls seem to be the last bug left before I get everything merged in and start official nightlies.

    @sbrissen: Any news on the storage problem / bug?

    Not yet, still looking at it as time permits. I'm working on getting all the repos merged so you guys can enjoy nightlies.

    I'll run another build with an updated repo sync here in a few.

    Parden me for being rude, but does that mean its an Official build now?

    Sent from my GT-N5120 using Tapatalk

    yes official nightlies are starting. I'll start a new thread as soon as I see the first one is built successfully.
