This is really the only thing I truly miss from the ICS roms at this point. Is there anybody out there w/ an app that is similar to this without changing the launcher?

I'm not so sure about ICS style folders, but the aosp ICS ROM works quite well. I'm running it on my Inspire.

Simi Folder Widget has something similar to iphone groups that works well IMHO.
