How do you run the default launcher? And how is different than TouchFLO?
Can someone explain what was the purpose of me adding a linux-swap partition to my memory card? Thanks
oh okay thanks, and would no why i'm still getting "loading" screens?
could be alot of things...are you on class 6 sd? did u setup all 3 partitions?[/QUOTE
UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE A CLASS 2 4GB SNADISK, BUT I DID SET ALL 3 PARTITIONS.
Had something of a similar problem and this is wat I did.I'm having a weird issue with the weather apk. I've tried to push another copy thinking it might have gotten corrupted somehow with the same results. Wiped and reflashed and it still the same.
Anyone know how to get this right??
Pics say a thousand words. You can see that the time is 5:32 in the afternoon with the sun shining outside but the weather app is showing as night time???
adb shell rm -r /data/data/com.htc.provider.weather/*
adb shell rm -r /data/data/com.htc.dcs.service.weather/*
adb shell reboot
su
rm -r /data/data/com.htc.provider.weather/*
rm -r /data/data/com.htc.dcs.service.weather/*
Is it better to have the linux-swap partition at 32mb than a bigger size? Ive got 32 now and when I get into heavier memory usage I start seeing the htc and loading screen a lot. Its lightning fast before it gets there though.
I've been reading mixed opinions- some say 32 is optimal, others say 96 is... whats the best?
you can have either ext2 or ext3 both will work fine.....IMO ext3 works better and yes they will allow for apps to be downloaded to the sd card.......after you install and reboot this will take place
To use only linux-swap
-set compcache=0
-set cc_backingswap_en=0
-set linux_swap_eanable=1
To use only compcache without backing_swap
-set compcache=1
-set cc_backingswap_en=0
-set linux_swap_eanable=0
-set cc_disksize=32 (32*1024 = 32768kb = 32MB)
-set cc_memlimit=0
To use compcache with backing_swap
-set compcache=1
-set cc_backingswap_en=1
-set linux_swap_eanable=0
-set cc_disksize=0
-set cc_memlimit=8
To use compcache with linux swap
-set compcache=1
-set cc_backingswap_en=0
-set linux_swap_eanable=0

I was using that one but I hated how it didn't adjust to 24hr and it didn't use the flip animation until I tried this:
Thank you, didn't notice that the gps wasn't on, now the HTC clock widget works perfectly...
Thank you the remix is running smooth, audio is working for camcorder aswell.
someone had mention before and they are correct this is running as smooth as cyan, and without any configurations tweaks.
