Same over here. Also make sure to enable reapply in boot settings or you will have to reapply the settings manually every time. I also turned off all animations as well in developer options. No lag at all.
looks like the 11/17 build got pulled or something...im getting a 404 Not Found page. so if your trying to update from the tablet it self it wont ether right now until someone fixes it
The latest CM nightly (11/17) includes some performance improvements including disabling the 24bit display via the kernel (doesn't seem to affect anything color/display-wise other than improve performance). Also for those who have been waiting, overclock to 1100MHz is now accessible via CM performance settings.
OCing further than that is currently not stable and is not available, please DO NOT ask about it in the thread.
Unfortunately, the get.cm mirror system seems to be having some issues so I have mirrored the nightly here for now in case you aren't able to get it via cm updater/get.cm.

Big thanks to sluo, keyodi and dalingrin for these improvements!
I was wondering about that... Anyone know why it got pulled?
Any issues running it?
Those are not gapps. They are actually replacement CM10 components. Components taken from 4.2 ROMs. Components like clock, launcher, keyboard.I would like to report that xda senior member safariking has made a 4.2 modded gapps that runs great on are CM10...iv been running it for a little over 2 hrs and had no FC or SOD so far. I take no credit for it.
hear is the original post that includes download links http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1991734

Greedy bastard that I am , I now hope for a New version of Nook Tweaks so that I can boost the low volume among other tweaks.
Did you guys read eyeballers post? The system is having problems so he posted it here for us...

Wow...just wow.
I've been building cm10 for the nook for about a month or 2 now and have consistently been amazed at what the devs have been able to squeeze out of this dated piece of hardware. Amazing work all around. Now I go and install this morning's nightly build after missing yesterday's and holy smokes, this is amazing. Very stable so far and VERY responsive. UI lag is almost gone. The real test is if I can hand it to my wife and she doesn't complain about it.
I think we have a winner here.
Good luck, handed it to my girl and got an ear full so I installed cm to a SD card if all else fails go to that method
Now back on topic has anyone else had music playback though headphones seem really choppy? For example when in the middle of a song not while going to the next track...

I noticed a a little choppiness when playing music yesterday using the Play Music app through some external speakers. Wasn't bad, and wasn't every song, but it was noticeable.
