Hello, i have 1 question though... I live in Romania and ive recently bought an g2 D802 unlocked... How can i know what firmware to download in case i root it and want to go back stock when software only shows D80220a-466-92, its the latest kit kat but when the update prompted it said something like V20-.. and etc i cant remember.. where can i see that V20.. number on my cellphone ? or even know from what region it came ? Thank you

and 92 is Chunghwa Telecom.

AFAIK, T is for the Australian LTE bands/channels/whatever so Australians can get LTE. I bought an international d802 and couldn't get lte on either any custom roms or an open Netherlands kdz when I flashed one in experimentation. I might try downloading a d802t kdz soon just to see if I can get lte, which while I have crappy quota (500M) on my Vodafone carrier, it isn't a big deal as I don't really care for QUICK downloading via mobile.
If I had my home quota however, I'd care, I grab up to 1.5TB a month sometimes heh.

I want to know which 4.4 version to flash currently using 20a ame xx. If there are no stable update then let me know which version to flash to get in. Will it effect warranty if I flashed or root. Once rooted can I go back to stock without them knowing. 2 days old on g2 had s3 before. Enjoying.

I will change to IMEI method. Full suffix list comming soon, we will have all model variants and all brands.
You will need to share your IMEI phone (but never in this topic, use PM or email) and I will calculate first model with same suffix as yours.
If you will just allow me it will be great list. We will always know what update will come.

6F.A.Q1. What is this ?
This is list of firmware files in .kdz type for all LG G2 variants.
2. Why I need this?
You can know what country/brand get updated and you can download .kdz file to flash it in offline unofficial mode.
3. Ok so how to flash it ?

4. How to check what suffix have my phone or does it have last version, or how to check link for .kdz for my phone?
Use this site http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=358635050100008 but delete example imei [358635050100008] at end and use your own IMEI number (it can be 15 or 14 numbers).
5. What will happen if I will flash White version kdz to my Black version phone?
Totally nothing because in G2 situation both versions (White and Black) use same .kdz file. When .kdz is BK at end the WH suffix is used to other things like beta kdz files, user manuals, drivers etc. It was checked by me and it's confirmed .
6. What will happen if I will flash 32GB version when I have 16GB phone ?
It's not confirmed by many people but probably nothing will happen. Somebody checked that 32GB and 16GB kdz file has same MD5 checksum. If you're wondering why there are 2 versions of .kdz file, the answer is easy. LG will update faster popular version of G2 in a given country.
7. What will happen if I will flash other model ? E. g. I have LGD802 and I will flash LGF320K.
Don't do this ! Never flash Korean version G2 to European or American and vice versa. It's not even recommended to flash same model with other region firmware. E. g. you have European G2 and you want to flash firmware from China. You may lose some specific settings like APN's and LTE network.2
Now you can't hack this tool. You need to have good account with authentication because all things that you want to do need now username, password and uuid parameters so if you don't have it you can do nothing.
