Here is a list of my favorite Android apps that you might be missing. I have tested all of them to make sure they work properly.

Some of the apps are free, some are paid, and many have both versions. They should all be searchable by name in the Android Market.

Some of the apps require your phone to be rooted or will only work on certain phones/versions, so be sure to read the description before you purchase anything.

I use Zoner as my antivirus due to its awesome features which is really useful.
I use WM FTP Client due to its awesome UI with all the features making me not use my PC to upload my files to my website.
I use DroidEdit Pro because of FTP, SFTP, themes, create your own themes, create shell scripts, web programming, keyboard shortcuts and much more.
I use Chrome Beta because it has a major list of features which you can add by using 'chrome:flags' and really fast at times.
I use Chmod Calculator because it helps me figure out what permissions I will have to use converted by using the permission grid or/and use the chmod values.
I use Limbo PC Emulator because it can run lightweight linux destro's.
I use Aquamail for other email accounts.
I use QR Droid because it allows QR/Barcode creation, colours/colors, encryption, QR/Barcode scanning like Wifi, text, urls and much more.
I use Solid Explorer Beta because it supports alot of features like split screen, FTP, Samba server, archive extraction, file actions like moving and coping files to the other side of the split screen.
I use ZArchive because it can create and extract almost any archive which is really useful for what I do.
I use JuiceSSH because it supports SSH servers really well, I even use it to connect to my other android device.
I use Bump because it is the fastest way to transfer any files I need transfering.
I use WifiInspect because it is a wifi tool for rooted and non rooted users to find devices on the network and much more.
I use Find My Router's Password because it can help retrieve default passwords and more.
I use Android Terminal Emulator because it is useful for linux command line stuff which I create shell scripts to use with the application.
I use PrintHand because it really helped with bluetooth printing has my printer is not connected with the internet and I cannot find the ethernet cable for it.
I use Terminal IDE because it gives me a pure linux command line experience.
I use Zipsigner because it signed .apk, .jar and .zip
There is much more but I can't be bothered typing anymore.

I've been using "File Expert" over Astro for a few weeks because it's light weight and it has built in FTP and HTTP server. I'm really digging the built in FTP server, I just switch it on and I can manage my SD card from any machine, no wires, no extra software.
