MC3 will not run on your latest build with these drivers. I reloaded the (218?) Versions i linked to earlier and now MC3 runs fine.

Fyi.

Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium

Edit:

The drivers i were using were actually V213

so, my experience:
my rom (aopk milestone 5) came with 213 drivers which gave me poor performance in nenamark 2 (on average 38)

then flashed 218 (new gl package from coindroid thread) and had big improvements in nenamark 2 : 52 on average
only problem: some instability/glitches and instagram no longer works (and i DO use it :)

then flashed the drivers from this topic (213) and got a lot better scores on nenamark 2(also around 50) compared to my "original 213" and now instagram does work :)

so my conclusion (take it for what's it's worth) : some roms already have 213 embedded but they seem to be different from the 213's in this thread

i'm staying with 213 from this thread for now as it's the best mix of performance and stability :)

Odd how the (V213) drivers in the original linked thread work, yet Vorbeths don't (same for the members observations above)

Seems like there are two versions of V213....

Daily driver?

Hi. I'm currently running on Virtuous Inquisition and have no issues. But I've been user of CM since 4.04. Is this ROM OK for a heavy use on my main phone?
If so, is it OK to recover (installed) apps from a backup (ROM Toolbox's App Manager)? And their data?

Works fine here.

I had one reboot and it was due to setcpu conflicting with the default being intellidemand. After the reboot, setcpu was able to properly set my previous setting (ondemand) and everything was fine.

I've switched to intellidemand now and it's working fine too...

I've been flashing over the top for weeks with just cache & dalvik cache wipes... if you're having an issue, do a full wipe, but it shouldn't be necessary.

On the 5/7 build, I had at least 3 lockups and reboots immediately after opening SetCpu. One of those, I cleared SetCpu's data and cache as well before opening but same result. Flashed back to the 5/6 build and no similar issues.

first of all i want to thank you for opensensation. it's a really fantastic rom! is there any way to fix the wake-lock issue (which causes massive battery drain) when bluetooth is turned on? i often use bluetooth with my bluetooth-enabled car radio. from sense roms i was used to keep bluetooth turned on the whole day - without any battery drain. it would be nice when opensensation would also allow me to let bluetooth enabled when no device is connected.

Not sure if the blue tooth kernel wake lock was fixed or not so let us know if there is one

With the new build, the camera app is crashing whenever you try to go to the resolution settings.

No force close and where's your logcat?

Is anyone else having problems sending mms in the latest build? The mms process force closes for me. I've verified that my apn settings are correct[/QUOTE

No issue here with mms, where's your logcat?

I'm coming from Inquisition. I just installed this ROM a few hours ago and so far there have been some minor issues with things FCing, but I suspect that it was just from me restoring settings from TiB. Clearing the data seems to have fixed most of the problems.

One little issue I've noticed is that uninstalling apps from TiB doesn't actually uninstall them. They remain and I have to uninstall from the app manager or play market. I even uninstalled from the app manager at one point and the app remained until I removed it from the play market. (Weird?)

I'm waiting for my SMS's to finish restoring and then I'll really start testing things out. I did notice that the phone is faster than it was on Inquisition (likely from the lack of Sense stuff), but it certainly doesn't seem as responsive as far as the touch screen. I think I'll need to play with it more to see. Once I have the ROM exactly how I want it, I can switch back and forth between OpenSensation and Inquisition. I'm not brave enough to try this with Boot Manager yet.

I should note that setup wizard FC'd on me on the first boot. Aside from that and the stuff that needed the data cleared things have been pretty smooth. I haven't taken or made a phone call yet, but I'm going to cross my fingers that it all works. :)

Edit:
Just had a reboot while trying to take a screen shot.

give a logcat of your issues

I got an idea try to commit it to Gerrit yourself and get it merged and you'll have what you asked for. Unless someone DOES do it and gets it merged on Gerrit then you have it.

Sent from my HTC Sensation

Well Im just an App developer and know nothing about how to make roms or mods/tweaks just wanted to share my idea because I personally think that the menu button is useless in ICS.

Cheers!

This thread is about OpenSensation and not about my kernel!!

    Disclaimer
    Your warranty is now void.

I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    Known Bugs / Fixes
    • MHL doesn't works as expected
    • Bluetooth may not work perfectly on every device
    • Not compatible with SuperWipe.zip
      • Use 4EXT's full-wipe function
    • Your bug is not listed here?
    Difference between OpenSensation and CyanogenMod
    • we have 1080p, they don’t
    • we have OTA Updates, they don’t
    • we have PDroid patches included, they don’t
    • we have removed RomManger and Terminal Emulator (bloatware, still available in Play Store)
    USB-OTG
The USB-OTG stuff is a little bit tricky. It looks like some Sensations have a self powered USB Host port which allows them to use an USB-Stick without external power. But most Sensation don’t have it.
    You need
    • USB-OTG y-cable (like this)
      • (or a normal USB-OTG cable if your attached device has it’s own power supply)
    • in case you’re using an USB-OTG y-cable you need an external power supply
      • I recommend you a mobile battery with a female USB-Port
This ROM will mount the first partition of your attached device (fat32 & ntfs only!) to /mnt/usbdisk. If you wan’t to use more partitions/devices I recommend you to use Chainfire’s StickMount App
    Requirements
    • HTC Sensation (XE and 4G sould work, too)
    • custom Recovery (I recommend 4EXT)
    • 3.32 or 3.33 Firmware (ROM is tested with 3.32 firmware, so use 3.33 at your own risk!)
    • S-OFF (ROM should work without S-OFF, but you might need 4EXT’s SmartFlash to properly flash the boot.img)
    • SDCard
    Download
    FAQ
    • Can we have XYZ from Sense?
      • NO!
    • “Is there a way to have FM Radio?”
      • No, there is no way to build it from source. Try Spirit FM.
    Thanks & Credits
    • Vorbeth, intervigilium, elelinux and cretin45 (for bringing CM9 to the Sensation)
    • intervigilium, faux123 and showp1984 (for the kernel)

Removed as TamCore now has OP

    Small update for you all.
I'm going to be stopping working on OS. Waiting 190 minutes for each compile just to test a small fix is getting too much.

I thank all those that previously donated, I was able to get a used q6600 PC, however that didn't last and the CPU fried. (Probably why I got it cheap was that is was on it's way out)

I've asked TamCore if he will take over on OpenSensation.

I have enjoyed the time I spent in doing this, however with work I don't have time to work on this during a week now, as the last few updates have shown working on it during the week, staying up while it compiles results in a few bug's.

The repo's as they are now do suffer from audio routing and I will try to re-port the routing fix over the next few day's, but that will be my last contribution.
    38
What's the current status of LPA?

Sent from my HTC Sensation using XDA

In a few hours after I compile, it will be enabled & audio routing band-aided

leaving just bluetooth, mhl, full HW acceleration & a few wakelock issues to be fixed.

Hell, I started out on this laptop, so may as well finish on it.
i'll stick around continuing to work on this for a while yet.

Guess I just got that pissed off waiting one night I thought "f**k it"

I will continue until such a point that cm and my repos have exactly the same functions.
