This one is beautiful. Thanks krook6023. Great job!
Hi xda developers.
My first post, and first time in a looong time I been messing around with flashing phones, Last phone was the first SPV classics. Kudos to the great work performed by the chefs in this forum. Our smartphones wouldn't have been the same without you
To my problem.
The ROM:
EnergyROM_28011_RAPHAEL_25.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5_MaxManila
R 1.02.25.19
1. My outgoing sms won't work. I can receive them ok, but I can't send any. During the first boot, I was prompted with a list of suitable providers, and chose my provider O2 (UK). I can't find any location where I can adjust or update the sms settings?
2. If I import my sms (434 of them) My messages menu get very unresponsive. It will list the 25 at first, but if I press "All messages" I can only see the "Compose Message" option... However I can scroll up or down, and eventually I encounter a big black / bluish graphics error.
When importing my sms I have to switch to traditional view to be able to read them. It still takes minutes to scroll through them :-/
3. Regions. It is as it is pure luck if the "City" option under the "Local Time Settings" is updated correctly. It often keeps staying at GMT-8 Pacific US"
I have updated the time zone and format, set the language (English Ireland (Where I am moving to), and also tested with Danish as it is where I am now) and set the region... I have set these values through the "Settings" menu, and also through the drop down box in upper left corner... I have successeeded i getting it to change a few times during my wipes, but it seems pretty random to me.
Any ideas on how to rectify these issues are highly appriciated. Am I on the wrong build or?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I am a new user of Fuze. I tried searching but couldn't find.
There isn't any button in the 'Communication Manager' to disable the push mail. I have battery drainage issue so i want to disable push mail.
How can I disable Push Mail in this ROM?
Thanks.
Doesn't push mail need some software to run correctly? if so perhaps it could be configured in this software or just uninstall the software?
I don't really use it but it's my guess.
Wrong thread mate, M2.5 is called LEO, this is PHOENIX for M2.1
suddenly, phone stuck in compact qwerty mode... even after selecting full qwerty from input options, defaults to compact qwerty... also, keyboard drop down selection arrow missing next to keyboard icon at bottom of screen... reinstall EzInput cab? any suggestions...?
Thank you in advance...
Start Menu | Internet | ActiveSync | Menu | Schedule. Set to whatever schedule you want. After using Exchange Direct Push for over a year with my Fuze, my observation is that Direct Push does not noticeably increase battery usage, EXCEPT when you are in an area of poor coverage and the phone continually switches between EDGE and 3G/HSDPA while searching for a connection. That burns through the battery. So I leave my schedule set to As Items Arrive unless signal is poor and I don't have easy access to a charger.
Hi xda developers.
My second post on xda, the first one was this post in the wrong thread

...it's a gorgeous addition to the energy rom!
SMS via The Sense (Manila 2.5) UI is messed up in general. You'll find plenty of discussion in the thread. I suggest you disable HTC messaging and revert to WM. A little bit of searching should find that for you.
If you insist on threaded messages and then import a bunch of messages the Sense interface will be slow. Nothing to be done for it at this time.
The location information comes via your cell connection to your carrier and isn't really tied to the ROM or the GPS. If it were me, I would add the major cities I knew I was going to be in. You shouldn't need to adjsut any locale settings other than adding the city.
