Nice! How did you take these pictures. I cant take such good pictures in the night?
Things I find that sometimes yields a better picture are:

-> In low light is to try keep the ISO from going too wild. (Might be tricky in LG's camera app, but I took those photos while on AOSP using Camera KK)
-> Take photos while recording a video. (Or if you're taking 4K video, grab a still frame later on using something like VLC.)

picture quality problem

Hi can anybody help me? I have this problem with every camera app. It's zoomed to 50% and taken with stock camera app (with other apps it's even worse). Size of the original photo is almost 4mb and resolution set to 13M i have no idea where's the problem :/ That distortion is so irritating me.

When in the camera make sure you are zoomed fully out by pinching inwards. You should see a slider going back to 1.

These were all taken using the stock camera app. No zoom or manual settings, just point a click.

I am surprised how low quality some are, they look great on the phone screen!

Same picture taken with 2 different apps.

First, with the stock LG Camera App on Lollipop
Second, with the FV-5 Camera App on Lollipop

For the conditions these shots were taken in, they actually didn't turn out bad.
Not to sound rude, but maybe you should throw an eye on a quick guide on taking photos, picture composition etc..
Also, "point and shoot" on smartphones doesn't exclude "tap to focus" :)

I agree entirely ... I bought a DSLR with the intention of learning to photography but I havent got around to actually doing the learning part yet lol

I do use tap to focus but it never seems to make that much difference, perhaps because the subject is normally moving? I dunno ... Ive promised myself I will learn so I just need to keep that promise haha
