Its used to send your usage data to HTC so no its not necessary. The APK can be removed, not sure that will keep it from running. I think it may have a service as well but not 100% sure.

Yep, get rid of IQ Agent and all the associated files and that should fix the fc. Also, this port is very much the one a lot of people are wanting... even more so than the sense 3.0 port. Can't wait to flash this! Woo fn Hooo!!!

this is exactly how I feel. I couldn't care less about sense 3.0 right now. I want a working Rom with 4G and new sense. I would try a sense 3.0 Rom but with the bugs associated with it, I don't see me running it for long.
I wonder if this will have the brightness bug?
yes it will. All roms will because they still use the EVO kernel for 2.3 which HTC has not given us a newer version of.
Good question. How 'bout it Misfit? Since you've actually booted this up, is brightness setting working on nova screens or do you have the Epson screen and can't confirm?

I think sense 3.0 works pretty good, Kingdom B1 is my daily at the moment, can't wait to try this bad boy out!!
Well, it does, if and when you can Sence to stop looping at startup. Also, it takes an act of God to get the lockscreen up and functional after boot. From there, it does function fairly well.
All in all, I just want a stable, post Sence 1.0 rom with 4g. This is certainly our best bet!
this sounds great btw people overlooked doubleshot port its actually nice no rebooting or anything

41This started out as the speedy port but has evolved into my own flavor of that rom. It has stock apperance but is fully optimized and I have added some old school tweaks and some new ones enjoy

Wipe dalvik and cahce and flash in recovery.

Place on Sd card and install using file manager
Install process:
1. Backup data
2. perform all wipes user data, dalvik, cache
3. flash rom
4. rom boots to splash then reboots intentionally
5. Pick your app that you want in rosie settings app for right button wont work at first until you do that.

Intructions:
1. wipe everything and factory, cache dalvik and also wipe data.
2. install rom
3. Only install apps in TI not system settings it will cause some issues if you do.

I have a hardware 0004 Evo with a Nova screen.
Using Among RA recovery and never repartitioned my sdcard. I wiped everything, flashed this rom then immediately flashed the gingersense kernel found on infectedroms.com.
Flash and first boot was flawless. This rom is great!
Camera works in all resolutions
The video recorder only works on the lower "mms" resolution setting.
Netflix app will not play videos.
Screen brightness does not work on Nova screens.
No other issues that I have found.
Misfit, please keep a fully stock rom with the fixes and a seperate themed rom for those who have different preferences. Thanks for hooking this rom up for us!
