What module are you talking about? Use this to fix up the GPS, but you should know it will cause problems. Search this or/and CM7 thread to find out the details.So can't be gps module copied from 9.x to 10.x ?? It's like water and fire.. Heaven and earth.. Demon and angel

I just found out how to solve the white flashes in the bootanimations on CM7 ROM's. They cause trouble when they cross a specific number of frames. I think its due to the openFIMG...

I just repaired the Hercolubus Rom bootanimation, which I made myself and had white flashes in it and I thought that maybe you would be interested in letting me "repair" yours as well? You can send it my way if you want.

I have converted my 256Mb ext2 partition to Linux swap, rebooted the phone and now how do I mount it using Kyrillos scripts or something?

I see the animation flashing only at the last part of part1 and it's flashing green when the homescreen comes up. Is that the same on your phone or is that because I'm on Hercolubus? BTW: The desc file is telling the animation to go 15 FPS is that intended? Personally I would rather go for a smooth animation like 25 FPS.

Nah, it's not that simple. I wish it was
. It seems that the part1 folder can't hold more than 70 frames on openFIMG. I did some testing and it is exactly like the Hercolubus one. Any frames after the 70 are turning white and since the animation is looping, you see them everytime. 25 FPS is just a standard framerate, anything below appears choppy to the eye, thats why they use it on television (PAL) I'll probably upload the fixed animation tomorrow.

Fixed it! I sped up the animation to 58 percent of the original length so the frames didn't go above 70 in the part1 folder. As a result the animations happens much faster now. If you want a fluid animation which as side effect is a lot faster you should go for the 25 FPS version. If you want the slower but choppier one, you should go for 15 FPS. Of course you can always change the desc file if you want to use another framerate. Please report if it is working.

Am on 10.2, at times ext4 is not available and so is the apps installed, tried to repartitioned but no luck, it appears intermittently. Also some times at restart it hangs at the the time of preparing the SD card. Checked without SD card it hangs again
I flashed the 10.2 update and done the whole procedure twice but still it appears Anything I've to check for this? Pls have a lookthanks in advance

- I dont remember what i changed from Alpha4 but its faster and more reliable.
- Ondemand governor has performance fixes. If you want to save battery, install setcpu, go to advanced settings and set Sampling rate to 60000 & Up threshold to 95.
- Cpu default frequency: 100-800MHz
- CM kernel 1.3 Included (UV fixed)
- If your have the screen of death issue (if your phone doesnt wake up, and you have to remove the battery) flash this kernel: CM kernel 1.3 high_voltage // Mirror [Thanks to rkoby13]
- Recommended to update to this version if you run Alpha4!
