I've used A2SD for a while and haven't had any issues with it.
Yeah, A2SD is pretty stable. First, I would make a nandroid backup for the current setup. After, copy everything from the SD card to your computer. Because when you partition your SD card it will format everything. I would also use CWM or Dread's recovery for this too. You don't have to do a clean install with the current rom, but some stuff may not work, so it may be better to Titanium Backup your apps and info and install newSense fresh. After backing up your entire SD card to the computer (can't stress this enough, because you will lose everything...pics, music, docs, etc..), I would do format of system, data, cahce, and dalvik a few times. Dread's recovery makes this a simple one step process. Next, you need to format your SD card. I think it is under Advanced in CWM and then hit partition SD card. It will give you several options: EXT2, EXT3, EXT4. The Kernel supports all three, but I would probably choose EXT4. But if you plan on flashing different roms in the future, EXT2 will be best because not all kernels support EXT4. I have ran both EXT2 and EXT4 and haven't seen a difference in speed. Then if will ask you to create an ext partition. This will depend on the size of your SD card. If you have a 32 gb card, you might want to try something in the 1-2gig range. Next when it ask you for swap size, select none or 0. Can't remember what it actually says. Then it should format the card. Now copy contents to the SD card as normal and flash newSense again. You can add everything you just copied to your computer if you want. Flash the rom and boot the phone.
After setting up the phone, don't really install anything. Next, you need to go into terminal mode (may have to download a terminal emulator from the market) and type the following:
su
----This should change the symbol from a $ to #
----now type this
a2sd reinstall
---This will install the script.
----Your phone will reboot and A2SD should be installed.
Just read the links below before installing also.
There you go.

I had this ROM on my daughters phone and it was very good for get . I wish I could find something with cool transitions like this rom for my evo 3d. I was able to figure out how to do the a2sd only a short time ago and then her screen became non responsive, so we paid to get her phone upgraded. I was she had more time to enjoy the extra space that a2sd provided.

A2sd would not and can not affect screen responsiveness. That just sounds like your screen crapped out on you

I didn't mean to make it sound like the a2sd did it... Lol. It was the screen crapping out it started slowly and then steadily got worse.

Thanks man, a lot of those songs are months old. I've got about 5 new songs in the works. Hopefully I can finish/record two or three this week to release
im actually on this right now, the theme mods all have dead links now. might wanna update the control panel (or just leave it lol)
thanks. the issue is wherever it was that was hosting the changes through the links are dead inside the app.
That's correct, he was generous enough to give me free hosting for awhile.
