This sucks! I seem to have over volted a little to much....

Does anybody have a fix for this?

You'll have to go down to your local shop and put it in a press:D

went from 3000 to 6200 from checking performance and ocing alone. I'm going to leave undervolting alone as it seems to be causing a lot of problems.

I don't undervolt. I am overvolting. Some time the battery needs a little extra umph to get the CPUs up to speed. Don't be afraid to mess around with your phone. Just take it slow. Hell. I was messing around with 5mV at a time. Just don't get greedy.

Dual boots and mic swaps! =/

Awesome kernel, appreciate the work guys.
Question, I am dual booting AOKP and the new ATT LD3 leak as my secondary. So before I clone LD3 as secondary, is there a mic swap that I can use that wont affect my AOKP build? If I would've flashed the no mic swap kernel, then to my logic, when I flashed the mic swap kernal after restoring my backup, it would have overrode (sp?) it anyways, am I right?

Sounds confusing I know, but the worst case scenario would be to use speakerphone and try to use AOKP as a DD.

P.S.- I tried searching for the phone.apk that was released when the first ICS builds started to show up, but that was a no go. Would that help in my case? If I flashed that apk then flashed the kernel with mic swap with AOKP, would it stick?

Thanks in advance!

If it's too complicated, it's ok. I'm not *****in, just wondering if there is a way.

You cannot dual boot a mic swapped ROM + a non mic swapped ROM.

Both ROM's have to use the same mic setup.

Yes they are going to conflict, there is only 1 kernel for both ROM's. You need a modded phone.apk for one of them so they both need the same "swapage".

How do I forgot my Internal SD Card? I'm running Siyah and when I go to mounts and storage and try to mount /sdcard it tells me can't mount.

I have everything important backed up on my external sd.

EDIT: Nevermind, instead of doing it through siyah recovery i just did it through the storage option in settings. Seemed to do the job fine. Thanks anyway.

Slow speeds? Try a different modem. Check apn settings. Toggle airplane mode. You're not being very descriptive which is making me want to bash my face into a brick wall.:D

After reading your previous posts do a full wipe. If that doesn't work go get a new iPhone and send me your sgs2:D

Had a really odd issue. I updated my psychomantis foxhound rom with the v. 3.1rc2 and right after flashing I rebooted the recovery and my screen went nuts. My phone had a ****load load of black and white lines all over the place. What I had to do was hold the power and volume down/up bottons to get it to reboot and after the reboot everything seems fine. But that was the strangest lock up I've ever seen! The screen of my phone looked like a tv broadcasting static. Thought for sure my phone was shot when I seen that happen. Luckily it wasn't.

I have seen that a few times too. It seems to be when you flash Siyah on top of another kernel, what I did was touch the screen anywhere and it rebooted on its own just fine.

Yeah its really odd and my phones screen looked like the TV from the movie poltergeist lol they're here:eek:

One thing though I was already running a siyah kernel just updated to the newest one.

Not if you flashed a ROM (foxhound) before siyah, that would have flashed a kernel and then you went on top of it. Thats what triggers it for some reason.

I have a question regarding Overclocking with this kernel on task's AOKP. AOKP has a built in Performance Overclocker in ROM Control. Can I use that to set the Max CPU and have it set on boot? Or do I need to use SetCPU to OC?

Also, in AOKP, there is an option for Fast Charge in the performance settings. I know that it will only work if the kernel supports it, does this kernel support it? If so, what exactly does fast charge do? Are there any negative effects?

BTW: I have been running RC2 on AOKP build31(now32) for 2 days and I have not experienced a freeze or random reboot.

Fast Charge: I don't think anyone here uses it. Since your phone cannot charge any faster than 650ma, I am guessing it just increases the USB charging to that (dangerous) and turns off any data.

I myself use the build in ROM Control for clocks/volts, works great. I don't notice any slowness with 1000Mhz.

    4. Flash the kernel
    5. Reboot and enjoy:D

It wont hurt your phone at all if you go with the wrong one and only takes a minute to flash the other.

    Dual-Boot instructions and Notes
If you want to have another ROM as secondary ROM, follow these steps:
1.Make a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
2.wipe everything and install the other ROM
3.Boot the ROM and make customizations. Don’t forget to reflash SiyahKernel if the ROM flashes another kernel.
4.Use CWM Touch Recovery to clone your rom as secondary rom.
    5.Restore nandroid backup
6.To boot from the secondary ROM, either press the HOME key or the VOLUME DOWN key when prompted.

    Some notes about dualbooting:
■If you do not make any cloning you won’t be prompted to boot the second ROM.
■you may need to reflash this kernel after a nandroid restore if your nandroid backup is created with another kernel.
■you won’t be able to use mass storage mode for /sdcard in second rom because we have our data and cache partitions on /sdcard. only external sdcard will be mounted if you are using mass_storage mode. mtp should work fine for sdcard.
■once again, you won’t be able to flash any CWM flashable zip to second ROM.
