if Neo case from International SG2 fits ok on ATT version, it should not be too hard to drill a hole in it in the right place for the noise cancelling, right?

Also, anyone tried those cases on Ebay that are sold for ~$13 with free shipment from China? Are they legit?

If you want to make a hole, go for it. I don't plan on doing it unless it really does reduce the quality by a lot.

If you're paying $13... might as well try to find a US seller.

I never count on the USPS. Even their tracking system is busted. Such a shoddy system they have and the workers at the USPS work as if they have nothing to lose. A bunch of lazy, incompetent, unionized workers that do nothing but complain and work at a snail's pace. The reason why they go postal after they get laid off is because they are afraid they have to get a real job now, with no job security. Hopefully now that there is a real threat of the USPS is going to fold it will encourage these lazy asses to work more efficiently. But it probably won't.

Going back on topic that is the case I want to get once I get my SGS2. I hope it does not impede calling quality in any way. Please post some more detailed pics of it when you get it.

Just an update that the tracking finally updated, and it looks like it took a full 48 hours before they shipped.

I got the white capsule for my gf. Fits perfect but the top mic is covered. I was on the phone with her and I don't have a problem hearing her. The screen protector that came with it is for the at&t phone too.

I emailed SGP yesterday, and they responded today. They will have the Neo Hybrid for the ATT version of GS2 in 2 weeks, so I am going to wait. It will also come with the correct screen protector. I ordered the Rearth Ringke Case black from Amazon already, so I will use that one in the mean time. Cant wait for the Neo Hybrid though. It looks really nice.

Yup.

One thing I'm hating right now is the power/sleep button. With a light touch around the power button with the case on.. it will press it.. turns on the phone :/

I just got the SGP Ultra Thin Air case. Although I liked the Neo Hybrid case better, I bought this one to hold me over (until the official i777 neo hybrid version comes out) because it doesn't obstruct the second microphone.

^^^I bet the official i777 Neo Hybrid will be the same as the International version but with the AT&T version screen protector.. I don't think they will redesign/punch a hole for you.

Not according to this thread. The poster claims to have contacted SGP, and they said they are making a i777 Neo Hybrid.

They "made" the AT&T version of Ultra Capsule already which only swapped out the screen protector so I doubt they will actually change anything except the screen protector.

conflicting stories

Just got this from SGP. I asked if they will be releasing a version of the case without the antenna hole.

We do not have perfect fitted cases for ATT Galaxy S2.
We are going to offer Galaxy S2 case with ATT screen protector included in the package, but the noise cancelling mic and antenna holes are going to be there as the international model.

^^^^As I thought it would be. They won't redesign the case when it already fits, just covering the noise canceling mic isn't too much of an issue.

"AT&T" version, same case as international version, only with the correct screen protector.
