I brought a Bluetooth Smart Body Scale and it doesn't have app for Android, knowing that in the past I brought an Heart Rate Belt with Bluetooth Smart and lots of applications read the correct data from it (it wasn't proprietary).
I've installed several Body Scale applications but none recognizes this Body Scale.
Can you tell me if for Heart Rate Monitors there is a standard protocol of communication on Bluetooth and if on Body Scales there is the same ?
And if not, can I quickly build an application that reads the data from the Bluetooth device ? Or it is impossible to connect to this Body Scale, except from its own application ? As if the data is encrypted or something ?
ps: When I try to connect to it from the Bluetooth Menu in my Phone it gives an error like:
Can't communicate with 'device id'.
